Just finished watching Sevens today and I couldn't agree more. Kid went undefeated until the very end, plus his dynamic with the rest of the cast was just too adorable, especially with Yuga and Romin

Considering he ends up joining the villains for an extremely petty reason, I can't see how anyone could think that.

His JP is cool but sounds a bit of a an old teenager, nonetheless it is splendid

Sub Luke still the GOAT. If you change the Vox to JP w/ ENG subs in game you'll really get a feeling for how much longer his sub voicelines are compared to his dub counterpart

Might be a hot take but, I really do love Luke's dub voice. What can i say? He sounds like a young boy, with lots of passion for the game.

I’ve only seen one episode of sevens, but I prefer the Dub voices of every character (that’s currently playable in the game) compared to their Sub voices. For Luke mainly, it’s because, like some others have said, he doesn’t sound like a kid, but either an adult or teenager, which, doesn’t make much sense considering his age (Which according to the wiki, is 11). The raspiness might be annoying to some but to me it adds to the character, he’s probably trying to sound older and more mature then he actually is, which is definitely something a kid would do, especially a kid with an ego and skills to back up said ego. My point is I like Dub Luke over Sub Luke

Unpopular Opinion: he's dub voice is not that bad I can see why he can get annoying sometimes but he's still not that bad but his JP VA really outshined his english one
In my opinion, the Japanese version is almost always better than the English version.

@@Mr.IDK07 The JP Dub is definitely more consistent. Less recasts and less bad performances overall (looking at you English dub Sora and Blair). And no silly name changes (like Varis 🤮)
But I have to give credit to the VAs for Shun, Aigami, Placido, Carly, and Paradox. They all brought their A game, which is not a surprise since all those characters except Paradox are voiced by a very well established VA.

For me, it works since he "is" rather silly. And I like the energy behind it. It is undoubtedly a big change from his deeper voice in the JP version however, for better or worse.

I didn’t watch Sevens, but I think the English cast was fine for the most part. English Luke was the weak link here IMO.
I got used to Luke's dub voice in the show, but I gotta say, listening to 20 minutes straight of it here makes me want to rip my ears out.

La de ritual me parece que quieren o introducirlo aqui primero o sera espoiler para el anime porque en las filtraciones esta el marco para monstruos rush de ritual
Bueno es cierto que existen esos marcos azules, pero la gente de DL no suele diseñar cartas solo para este juego, y si no existen los rituales Rush sería raro que los implementen porque ni siquiera hicieron la de crear versiones Speed Duel de las cartas Rush para que los personajes de Sevens puedan jugar Speed Duels.
Si llegan a implementar rituales esos seguro que llegan primero al juego físico antes que a DL

Como tal DL no saca cartas exclusivas exclusivas del anime, no diseñan cartas "originales", salvo las action magic supongo

You’re insane the dub is garbage.
The squeaky voice doesn't suit Luke at all and completely ruin the supposed first impression of a "cool" guy but is actually a chuuni idiot, like a good gap between being cool but actually cringe. That's his character and squeaky dub voice completely ruins that flavor.

@@mattstonge7112nah, Taku Yashiro and Natsuki Hanae are just like the best performing VAs in the entire Sevens show. Watch more sub anime instead of cringe dubs to know how Yashiro nailed a chuuni character almost perfectly

I prefer the subbed version for the different Yu-Gi-Oh! animes, but, IMO (in my opinion) I like the dub for Duel Links more.
@@mattstonge7112Yashiro and Natsuki are first-rate VAs, you can't compare them to cheap third rate VAs from the dub. There are new-face Japanese VAs in Sevens where dub has a "slight slight chance" to sound better, but third rate dub actors cannot compare to Yashiro and Natsuki
