My Gopro10 has the same problem. Tried all the youtubers tips and tricks to fix it but it didn't work at all. I came to the point gave up and hate the Gopro product. 😢
I just had the same probleme take off your sd card stay pushing the on botton for 11 sec and connect your cable and then turn on your go pro it will work
@@FinnAdamchek we’ve recorded 100s of hours on our gopros, they are great pieces for sure! GoPro even warrantied this one after the warranty had expired.
I had same on my hero 7 black try take battery out put usb c cable in the camera connect to 5 v and then put battery in it should turn on i think its problem with camera processor
I think I got it figured out. 1. Open the battery cover 2. Slightly pull out the battery out and then push the mode button once 3. Push back the battery in and press the mode button again (once) Repeat the same few times. It worked for me for some weird reason and the GoPro is back to normal. Suggest - once u see it works normally rest the GoPro settings to factory settings from the menu. Hope it works. Cheers
I have it yesterday it turns off at 10 secounds and dont want to turn on but my battery dies when i go to charge it was 3 % battery one secund later was 36% and more with secounds any can help me
Same problem happens to my gopro hero8 black. until now now its not working. i have tried any possible solution that i have found in the internet but nothing is working. What a waste!
If you hold the power button for 11 seconds the GoPro will reset. It will not delete any footage you will just need to put the date and time back. But hold the power button for 11 seconds and it should work
we ended up having to return it under warranty. we tried every trick in the book and it just wouldn't cooperate. Thank you for the comment, we appreciate the help and hope it helps someone in the future.
Thx for the tip. I tried this & several others but I still have the same issue. It totally ruined a film day. Was working fine the day before. I'm wondering if the battery isn't connecting to the power button bc sometimes it randomly turns on/off. Any other advice? 😢
Same problem with me...stopped working all of a sudden...no solution...checked with local technician... motherboard circuit need to be replaced...total garbage product @gopro shame

Call Gopro, they were great on my call yesterday and are sending me a new 8 under warranty.
The same here with the go pro 8
Yea I just bought the hero 8 for fishing vids at first it would randomly stop recording and turning off
Apple needs to start making these cameras. They'd do a much better job
For the low price of 1000$. (Battery & Charger sold separately)
@@FPVRCs at least it would work

I tried this tip as well but it didn't work. Any other advice?
Charger GoPro 4 5 minutes and then take out the battery in the SD card and wait 10 minutes and then put them both back in
I'll try that. It's about the only thing I haven't tried.

Hero 8 is garbage .. had 2 out of the box that wouldn't charge or turn on... Big QC problem at GoPro
What is QC? I have the same issue with 7& 8. Did you find a new underwater camera replacement? If so, which one & can it use gopro accessories?
