Phones are definitely a fitnah that's for sure....but they can be so useful too, like for us sisters we can take them into the kitchen with us while we're cooking or washing the dishes & listen to some Qur'an (or lectures😆) ....making use of our time like that. Double reward inshaAllah...one for cooking for the family & another for lending our ear to kalaam Allah 🥰 a balance is everything is always good ♥️

My obsession with my phone these days is soo bad and I hate it. I can’t help it but spending so many hours just scrolling and scrolling. I really want it to change. This phone even consume the time to make dua that Allah عز و جل aids me in getting rid of this phone obsession. I really need help.

Relatable situation here for me too as you exactly described. but I would like to emphasize the point usthad made which is we know a way for sure for everything, whether it's the path to finding the ways for learning or the path to find the ways to get rid of our bad habits. We just hesitate to take steps forward. I ask Allah for all of us to be one of the steadfast and rightly guided people and for His Thawfeeq in actualizing our intentions.

I HATE when I'm with people and they're on their phone, it's this weird situation where they are present but at the same time they are not present. People survived since the beginning of mankind without phones but we are unable to. I wouldn't be surprised if it's as addictive as recreational drugs.

Phones are good when it has limits 3 hours should be more than enough and Quran should be read and listened to at least an hour a day or more

Amu team, please upload more segments from the seerah series because the ustaad's seerah series are more than just the seerah. May Allah bless the ustaad he's very knowledgeable and well read and because of that he asks and answers very advanced aspects of the religion that most don't know or it's a doubt that the kufaar and the hypocrites bring about. An example of the segments I'm talking about is the satanic verses. I think if u upload that many people would watch it and benefit in sha Allah. Unfortunately most people only watch sensational, controversial, popular videos etc.

Akhi, no scholar has ever said this. The plentiful ahadith of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم describe him with human features such as curly hair, being one-eyed and more. He even صلى الله عليه وسلم said he looks like a man that the companions knew. All these Hadith are authentic and I can provide references if you aren’t convinced
