I think one of the most interesting things about these habit videos (and maybe especially Jungkookie's habits) is that as you notice they do share a lot of mannerisms, you realize it's because they've actually lived/worked together for so long. It's especially striking for Jungkook because he's been partially raised by the older members (since he was so young when he started training to debut with them) , and it's actually really common in families to use mimetism to fit in(from an evolutionist point of view, that's how people could survive, by being recognized as part of the group) . He's himself said he sometimes feels like he is a manifestation of all the members' personalities and that he was like a puzzle made of their different pieces. It's like Jimin and J-hope flinging themselves on other people when they laugh - probably because they are roommates and at some point started mirroring each other - or how the members sometimes do really random, every day life things completely in sync (you should check out the videos, it's baffling!). It makes me emotional to think about it bc it shows how strong their bond is, that they share the same habits like family members would. Also, as crazy as it might seem, after a while, if you watch the bangtan bombs and more generally all the non musical /dance content you might end up picking up some of their habits too, and when you'll catch yourself doing Tae's meme face unconsciously you'll know it's now too late for you and you'll never be able to cling out of the rabbit hole again 😂😂

Something our korean teacher said about honorifics in general, in addition to the younger generation sometimes changing the rules within their friend groups. "-ssi" is a term to be used by those in your age group. You can also call someone younger than you with it, but never someone older, unless that person says it's okay. It's a polite term only when used right. The equalent a younger person would use about an older, is "-nim". But these also include a vocabulary change, as korean has six different ways to talk, depending on who you're talking to. And then there's slang and internet slang which are mostly informal af and shouldn't be used by foreigners when talking in korea, unless specifically stated it's okay. This may of course depend on the person you talk to.

Technically, JK should be calling JM “hyung” because they are close and JM is older, and sometimes he does, but usually JK refers to him as “Jimin-ssi” or foregoes honorifics altogether. Lots of people see it as a way for JK to tease JM, and I suspect it started that way, but JM is not bothered by it at all and seems rather endeared instead. It’s kind of like their “thing.”

They missed out ALOT of Jungkooks habits ( he was even named idol with the most habits by media). Some they missed out are:
- picking at his face hair
-wiping off his sweat with the back of his hand then checking his hand
- his very strong lisp
- smelling his food before eating
-smelling hobi
-covers his ears when hes excited or nervous
-eyes widen when hes drinking
-standing/sitting with his toes pointing towards each other
-randomly singing

Something our korean teacher said about honorifics in general, in addition to the younger generation sometimes changing the rules within their friend groups.
"-ssi" is a term to be used by those in your age group. You can also call someone younger than you with it, but never someone older, unless that person says it's okay. It's a polite term only when used right. The equalent a younger person would use about an older, is "-nim". But these also include a vocabulary change, as korean has six different ways to talk, depending on who you're talking to.
And then there's slang and internet slang which are mostly informal af and shouldn't be used by foreigners when talking in korea, unless specifically stated it's okay. This may of course depend on the person you talk to.

“Ssi” is an honorific that older people usually use with younger people whom they are not close with, but are being polite to. Technically, JK should be calling JM “hyung” because they are close and JM is older, and sometimes he does, but usually JK refers to him as “Jimin-ssi” or foregoes honorifics altogether. Lots of people see it as a way for JK to tease JM, and I suspect it started that way, but JM is not bothered by it at all and seems rather endeared instead. It’s kind of like their “thing.”

@Landon Mark Sooooooo late, but he is considered a bunny for his doe eyes, prominent nose and smile (which had a set of beautiful teeth, the front ones being slightly bigger). His playful, energetic nature also plays into this.
