Actually he (also has a habit of) don't like wearing shoes. That's why sometimes he just wear slippers because he's not comfortable in shoes but when he's wearing shoes he will not wear it properly and wear it like a slipper. And there's jimin getting mad at taehyung not wearing his shoes properly in one of their run bts videos. Taehyung sometimes throw his shoes in run bts when he had a chance. That was just one of the funny and cute thing he does. I just can relate to him because i also prefer wearing slippers than shoes. So i've noticed from all my years in kpop and having a korean roommate and korean friends in college is eating with your mouth open is EXTREMELY common. Like its super normal and not seen as rude to smack and make loud noises when you eat.

Also something I love about him lately is that he's one of the best at saying what needs to be said when it comes to interacting with fans. Like all of them, he always talks about Army with a lot of reverence, love and gratitude, but, whereas most of the time (not always, since Jin, Yoongi and Jungkook have done it too) the other members seem wary of speaking about some the fans' attitudes that step out of line, Tae has less qualms about it. He communicates with us a lot through Weverse, so we've seen him speak against stalker fans (like the sasaengs who follow them on planes), clap back at fake fans (girl who was being mean in the online game about a month ago), rude fans (people who post ugly pictures of other members or say something bad about them) and delusional shippers ("get out of your imagination it's not good in there"), when necessary. Most of the members eat with their mouth open because culturally in Korea it represents enjoying the food. Being a "good eater" is a good and respectful thing to whoever made the food and one of those ways is making noises lol. but I get you on that I have misophonia and I hate mouth sounds with chewing. sometimes they go live on vlive and they eat like that but I still tolerate it cuz I love them lol
About touching Kook's chin, mostly Tae and Jimin do it a lot. Probably because he's the maknae, but also because as the three youngest in the group, they're also close, and with Hoseok they're part of the "touchy line" (like cuddling, hugging, etc). They're affectionate and show it through physical affection
For the tapping under the chin thing, I have seen other members do it, but it's pretty much always those two. Though I don't think they do it anymore so maybe it was just when they were younger? A lot of these habits videos have habits members had when they were a bit younger so there are definitely newer things they do a lot and some of these you might not see so much now
He also does this sound that sounds like ’ooohh’ but like in a scolding tone? Ie if he doesn’t get what he wants, or someone takes something (food) from him or in a run episode (pottery), he used it when the other members didn’t stop when time was up. It’s like scolding a child or a dog 😂
taehyung has a nickname honey bear given to him by his mom (he even has a song winter bear) and also baby tiger! mostly his nicnames come because of his smile and how he is rather tall but acts tiny and is very cuddly (that's why him and jimin are super touchy and they're also soulmates) and has a child's soul
when you talked about your enemy leafblowers I took me a whole minute to realize you mean an actual leaf blower outside your apartment and not haters that you just so named leaf blowers for some reason I wasn't enlightened about... not my proudest moment

Yeah tea is precious person and very unique actually, even if I notice recently he’s more calm and quiet and that’s on growing up for sure ,he still goofy around the boys u can notice in bts run too
Also something I love about him lately is that he's one of the best at saying what needs to be said when it comes to interacting with fans. Like all of them, he always talks about Army with a lot of reverence, love and gratitude, but, whereas most of the time (not always, since Jin, Yoongi and Jungkook have done it too) the other members seem wary of speaking about some the fans' attitudes that step out of line, Tae has less qualms about it. He communicates with us a lot through Weverse, so we've seen him speak against stalker fans (like the sasaengs who follow them on planes), clap back at fake fans (girl who was being mean in the online game about a month ago), rude fans (people who post ugly pictures of other members or say something bad about them) and delusional shippers ("get out of your imagination it's not good in there"), when necessary. He has gotten a lot better at not taking shit and I love that about him.

Most of the members eat with their mouth open because culturally in Korea it represents enjoying the food. About touching Kook's chin, mostly Tae and Jimin do it a lot. Probably because he's the maknae, but also because as the three youngest in the group, they're also close, and with Hoseok they're part of the "touchy line" (like cuddling, hugging, etc). They're affectionate and show it through physical affection

taehyung has a nickname honey bear given to him by his mom (he even has a song winter bear) and also baby tiger! mostly his nicnames come because of his smile and how he is rather tall but acts tiny and is very cuddly (that's why him and jimin are super touchy and they're also soulmates) and has a child's soul
