    I love it when somebody takes the time to do a demo that is clear concise and we can fully understand from start to finish.
    Sounds simple yeh, but in reality i spend half my day scrolling through the BS to get the one that actually gets the job done. **************Thank you Sir this is the one we've all been waiting for.****************

    This description and the video seems to have an error. It says to add the black wire (Active) to only one of the L terminals on the Shelly. Later in the video it then connects the L terminal of the switch to the other L terminal on the Shelly. This is how I connected mine but the Shelly would only operate in Relay mode. To make it operate in Roller Shutter mode I had to connect an active supply to BOTH of the L terminals of the Shelly and an active wire to the L terminal of the switch and then it all worked fine. The wiring diagrams of the Shelly device show an Active wire going to both of the L terminals of the Shelly device and also to the L terminal of the switch.

    Congratulations on a helpful review. How can I get feedback on the condition of the blinds, whether it is open or closed. I think on this principle to drive a pair of garage doors. The garage door automation has a magnetic sensor that sends a status signal, but how do I connect it to the relay?

    • @ktulinho
      @ktulinho  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for yout feedback! For shelly 2.5, you have a setting called positioning controls. See here imgur.com/a/akT5mE4
      For garage door positioning controls, I'm not sure you can do it with a shelly 2.5. I think for garage door automations you need to use a Shelly 1, which has something called dry contact. But best thing is to post your question on the Shelly support group: facebook.com/groups/ShellyIoTCommunitySupport/
      There is always someone that will reply quickly. :)

    Obrigado pelo conteúdo! Em relação ao colocar o Shelly dentro da caixa, não há problema de tamanho? ou ficar muito junto com os outros fios?

    • @ktulinho
      @ktulinho  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Obrigado! Vai depender do tamanho da caixa. No meu caso ficam mesmo à medida. Fica tudo muito juntinho e por isso é que tento meter o shelly o mais perto possível do interruptor.

    If you get a "Device failed to connect or include" error message when you want to add a new device jus try it from another phone. The app is very buggy but from another phone was successful.

    Parabéns pelo excelente tutorial. Tenho 5 estores, em todos eles tenho 6 fios. Julgo que isto se deva ao facto de ter um interruptor central que comanda todos os estores em simultâneo. Existe algum tipo de tutorial sobre esta minha situação?

    Is it possible to define an offset value to the shutter? E. g. to define the shutter to open 50% or any other value?

  • @PauloSoares-gr5ft
    @PauloSoares-gr5ft 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video, but there is one issue. The switch on the video has 2 x STOP and 1 x UP and 1 x DOWN. The Shelly only has 2 x Switch outputs. The problem I have now after installing the Shelly 2.5 is that Shutter doesn't stop when I push the STOP button.
    Without the Shelly I can stop the roller shutter by pushing STOP, with the Shelly the STOP doesnt work.
    I saw you have switch Efapel 21291, I have 21290.. I that why?

    • @ktulinho
      @ktulinho  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Paulo! Thanks for your comment! I think the only difference between the 2 EFAPEL buttons is that in mine (when doing it without Shelly) I have to manually stop before activating the opposite action. I think in terms of connections to the Shelly they are probably the same. I'm thinking if it might be a configuration on the shelly side. How do you have your Device Type, Input Buttons Mode and Button Type? Mine are set to Roller Shutter, Open & Close Buttons and Momentary.

    But what can I do if in the switch there is no N wire, just the L and the on/off wires?

    • @ktulinho
      @ktulinho  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, not sure. With Shelly 2.5 you need the N wire. There are other shellys that do not require N like the Dimmer.
      Maybe ask here - facebook.com/groups/ShellyIoTCommunitySupport/about/
      super helpful community!

    • @oferbar
      @oferbar 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will need to thread another line for the N. There are smart devices now that don't require N with some electrical "magic" but I think they work for lights. Not sure if it will work with motors...

    • @ktulinho

      Que tipo de butões são? São parecidos com os do vídeo? É suposto parar qdo os butões ficam "off". Pode ser alguma das definções do shelly na aplicação. Por exemplo, tablez a opção button type. Ou mesmo o modo de funcionamento (relay ou roller shutter). Aqui vai um screenshot com as definições que tenho no meu imgur.com/a/akT5mE4

    Exelente tutorial. Mais claro que isto, não há, realmente. Fazem falta mais videos destes. No entanto reparei que aos 2:04 é mencionado, na narrativa, que no O1 liga o cabo castanho, e no 02 liga o cabo preto, mas na imagem vemos o inverso a ser executado. Mas mais adiante, aquando da ligação dos cabos mais pequenos, tudo bate certo com o video, portanto assumo que tenha sido erro de narrativa. Certo? :) Abraço e MUITO obrigado mais uma vez.
