Simple !! But how about reset button

Thanks great Vid. Have been trying for three weeks to hook up my Blu Button 1 to my roller shutter doors controlled by my Shelly 1 Gen 3. All works fine now😆 but very short range😒.

What if there's no input plugged into the SW? My one only has O, I, L-, N+. Someone help. Not an electrician.

Hello! Thank you for putting this video up! It really helped me to get my Shelly BLU Button to work. The app on Android is slightly different than what you showed maybe because it has been updated since the video was published. Not a problem anyhow. Since I have many plugs in my living room I assigned a group instead of one single device. But then I could not use the toggle function so I had to assign one button click for turning on and a different button click for turning off the lights. Don't know if this is a limitation or if it is me being inexperienced.

pdf got me so confused. they mislabbeled all the images and gsve no instructions. mine went poof 🤯 the 12v somehow burnt out the resistor in glorious fashion. probably because the live shown on the switch was actually neutral which is negative and also labbeled ground and looped to one of two contacts in two positions which chsnge depending on the image or device your looking at. had me like alice in wonderland trying to connect five wires 😂but ordered a newer model with the wiring guide stamped onto it .hopefully less smokey and wallety (2nd one to go poof..figured maybe the v2 was fixed..it was not.).

I live in a building with shared garage parking so I don't have the access to the motor. I have spare remote and power+internet at my parking spot. Would it be possible to solder contacts of the remote to the shelly1 and control it online?

I cant completely reset my shelly.. it still memorizes the wifi setting which - after reconnecting to the app - renders it inaccessible 😪

Hi Filipe, thanks! It’s great you showed that older Shelly devices can be activated indirectly via at least one Shelly plus device gateway, which should be somewhere in Bluetooth range to the blu button. Hence, if you have say a big flat, then you’ll need these gateways in the right rooms to ensure the button works. Keep up the good work.

very clear... but: this procedure doesn't reset the shelly from the cloud and when you try to connect it, the app informs you that the shelly is connected to another account. I don't have access to other account and so, how can I solve this case?? many thanks to everyone can help me

thank you for the video. It is great explanation video. Can I have a question tho? I do not have WiFi connection in my garage. Will it please work the same way over bluetooth? Idea is to open the garage door when in close proximity to bluetooth receiver.

Olá FIlipe, eu tenho um Selly 1 ligado ao portão que ficou offline depois de um corte de energia. Aproximei-me do portáo com o meu telemóvel, liguei à rede wi-fi do shelly, na app Shelly, adicionei um novo dispositivo. A app enviou mensagens de erro durante o processo de adição (coloquei o SSID e password da rede a que o shelly estava ligado antes de ficar offline) mas no final acabou por sobrepor o shelly ao que já lá estava, tudo como antes. Fica aqui a partilha de um método, na minha opinião, mais simples. Abraço e continuação de bom trabalho.
