Good video but never told us how long to leave in the sand before transferring to ground/pot and what to do once that stage is done eg how often to water what type of soil?
I've tried this on 50-60 cuttings and it hasn't worked. I tried the method shown here and it hasn't grown roots. I took cuttings off of different plants, changed the soil mix, still nothing.
Hey James, sorry it took so long to reply. I have about 75%+ success. It doesn't matter how hot it is the key to get them to root successfully is to water consistently everyday because when you miss a couple of waterings is when they will start dying.
Nice one James. I Literally just done this. Do I keep the cuttings in a bright or shady place?
Hi James, When do you transplant them to a pot ?
May I ask what is the best time of the year to take these cuttings
Early to mid summer I read on other sites. This dude doesn't seem to be replying in quite a while to questions.
Thank you I don’t think my new stems are quite long enough yet
What type of sand and when do I change to compost
En que estación del año es recomendable hacerlo

alot of these questions are common sense.
Very good video. If I am in northern California USA, what season is the best, early spring or end of fall? Thank you so much.
You can do it at anytime if you have a controled environment/temperture
What time of year are you doing this please?

are you sure you kept the soil constantly moist?
So October or in the springtime is a good time?
Once you've planted them, How often do you water them?
Thank you. 👌💕
Hey James I subbed, Happy growing
Great demonstration
What sort of soils/sand are you using?
how did they go? 1 year on hopefully it was successful
They have done well they are now in the ground continuing on the hedge.
good luck James
How often are these successful to root? And what gime of year as it gets really hot here in Australia in summer and winter is frosty

What type of soil you used?
@@froliceye I used a cheap top soil mixed with dried peat. The peat holds the moisture better.
Nice, thanks James. Subbed 😊
Good morning, what is the gray compost made of?
Sand
Yo James
Merci beaucoup
I did all that but it failed, I think it might be because I put it in potting soil not sand, I will try the sand next time.
I tried but failed too...I used potting soil as well.
@@TYT695 Ill try again next year using sand see if I get any better cuttings this time. Its so annoying.
@@casperwallace9685 try a humidity dome, cloning gel works well too but make sure to dilute it. dont have damp soil, moist soil is key.
@@-Oittz- Thanks Oittz, Ill try anything now...😂 I think the plant hates me.....😂
Can you just stick them in the ground now June
why
