I've been practicing the past couple days to refresh myself on the activity prior to leagues so I could comfortably finish a 6:30 sep run without wasting leagues time learning, and I feel like I can conistently get around the 7 minute mark, and sub 6:30 on a really REALLY good run.
Incredible guide, and very well detailed! Thanks for the resource, king! Note: at 40:50 you actually don’t lose any time just clicking on the coffin immediately. The weird side-step doesn’t actually lose you any ticks compared to the stall your character does, by pathing to the northern tile first, after looting.
Path Marker plugin is super nice to see if you're going to end up walking 1 tile at the end of a click or running the 2 you usually want to, Sae Bae has it setup to make every other tile invisible and has a video on his plugins, I always turn it on for Sep, super handy.
Thanks for the video! Honestly, incredibly intimidating getting into it, but it's not too punishing to mess up early on, especially if you're below level 92. I assumed that I'd misclick once and the rest of the guide wouldn't work, but luckily the tile markers guide you along really well.
Amazing guide, thank you. Started sepulchre as a complete beginner on my ironman at 71 agility and have been coming back to this guide to learn each new floor. I just hit 92 today and am picking up floor 5 in no time at all, only 1 fail before my first grand chest.

Yo! I love your vids! Came to say thank you for all your content! But also, I saw an update today in the Hallowed Sepulchre tile pack plugin. I'll be honest, all the new tile indicators that were put in through the update today, or last night, added a little too much, and is a little distracting. I'm grateful for it, for it helped me learn sepulchre, but now I'm gonna go and put my own tiles in through a few runs, and disable the tile pack plugin. Thanks again for all your help, and all of your content!
To copy the tile markers, do I copy the part that says "Floor: 1" or just the info after? Wasn't sure if I can copy/paste the whole thing or if I have to do each floor separate.

learning all floors at the same time could be a bit much yeah. I will say, its fun once you have learned it! and while learning it you will still get similar rates to rooftops, up to you tho.

11:49 i cant seem to get ahead of the sword here. Idk what im doing wrong. it feels like i might be losing a tick when i spawn, but i am never losing spawn ticks on other rotations so is this one different somehow? do u maybe have less time to react or what?
u have to be tick perfect and its only possible if the darts arent shooting the first lane. but it also doesnt save time. it just makes it easier to get the 0:38s time downstairs
@heboxjonge ye I figured it out. I was losing a tick in the beginning. For some reason it's much harder to react on this spawn than the others unless I'm spamming the minimap. Like the character is able to start moving a bit faster than usual
just got my first grand coffin opening after 3 attempts... will be a long time if ever before im getting 90k+ and hr but we will re watch this after i get comfy with the basics
At 20:05, can't you just continue pathing towards the end of the obstacle as the darts won't reach you in time? Essentially is it necessary to path back to the middle tile and waiting a tick to let the darts pass?

I'm pretty sure we're both running these laps of 40+ ping, normally. I've ran sepulcher on 20 ping and what He Box Jonge is displaying has cost me countless minutes with the response time being too soon..
interfaces like arrows or potions can stall you, has to do with like loading chunks. only way to prevent it is to use a redclick to path somewhere. i.e. clicking stairs or using an item on like a statue.
why do the transparent grey tiles without borders not show up? The get imported and I can "unmark" them, but they are not visible. nvm i figured it out. Its a damn shame that they fucked up the low detail plugin tho ...
Jagex making the change on blog 26th March - stating "Allow players to unlock an instanced version of Hallowed Sepulchre, allowing skilled players to maximise their gains without having to be lucky enough to be the first player to start the Floor’s trap cycle". Does this mean we don't need to worry about other people on our floor presetting floors so we can still get tick perfect floors?
@@heboxjonge lots of different types of color blindness but you could probably do something like blue, green, red. Teal, purple and orange would also work. I haven't messed around with tile colors before so i don't know how many color options you have to choose from.
What'a a ballpark marks/hr only looting floors 1-3? Also, how necessary are the hallowed items if one's only goal is to obtain the graceful recolour? I'm currently 77 agility and am only interested in Sepulchre for the recolour- I have zero desire to continue running it for xp or gp afterwards.

I can't make the second green tile like you do, but maybe I misunderstood and that timing is only for when you go /after/ the sword.
ty! yes you are supposed to wait there if you are ahead of the sword. what it does is pretty much guarantee the fastest time. if you go behind the sword and then get yellowed downstairs you will have to wait 1 flame cycle, adding like 4 seconds.
that happens mostly when you are getting teleported forward and you were clicking behind of where you get tped. i guess just less spamclicking or knowing when you get tped. but it still can happen sometimes ig

Does anyone have any insight as to whether coffins are worth looting for ironmen regarding clue scrolls? For example, if you still need ranger boots should you loot floor 3 for clues or is it just better doing eclectics?
you could calculate this by firguring out the time it takes to loot a coffin on floor 3 to get 1 medium clue and compare it to imps, however its kinda hard to take the loot into consideration of how much time that sames making money again.
There is no point in getting the hammer and ring before the grapple if you´re not above level 82, and you should definitely do the grapple obstacles to get marks from the second level and up.
looting grapple on 2 and 3 slows down your xp rates by quite a bit. getting the focus and looting floor 3 portal only will get you more than enough marks to buy instances, hammer, ring by the time you are 82. if you are there for clogs/graceful than i maybe can see looting grapple as being worth it
you still want to stick to the combos listed on the wiki. normal plank, steel nails etc. but the only difference is the xp between them they all function the same when it comes to looting
Am importing the tiles wrong? seems like im getting the tiles mark but not wording / colors. Specially where i should stick with the color its not good :/

@@heboxjonge I came to the conclusion that this guide is meant for people who are already competent, which I am a bare bones beginner. I'm taking some time at roofs to focus on money for a little while, then I'll ease in and learn the ropes, then revisit this video when I'm already comfortable.
update: couple weeks ago i bashed my head against the wall unlocking ring+instance. Then looked around at beginner guides: those from Foxx were especially nice. Been getting around 83k/h (pb 6:47), and now back to get better at the places i knew still needed work. I'm really only aiming for 90k/h. Gonna spend most of the month working on seppy, then skill hop to finish it all out. o7 Will occasionally update this comment. 603k grand coffin looting 6h, 5:34.2 pb, 5:18.6 sum of best. End goal is sub 5:30. Have until 200m to get it.
the part ive always struggled with the most is the part i felt like you skipped past. floor 5 with green/yellow/red tiles before sword.. i dont know why but i feel like im garbage at it and always mess it up. do you have any tips past what you said in video? Why does your character randomly stops running for 1 tick like at 4:11? That happens to me too but I can't figure out why.

Is there a colorblind mode version of the tile markers? Green, yellows, oranges are hard to differentiate.

if you are that close to the darts while moving diagonally you will get hit, just how the dart mechanics work

you need to have the ground markers plugin enabled, then click the world map orb, not the minimap itself.
I downloaded the tilemarkers, but it seems you have different ones, like the "tick perfect" tiles. Are those not in the pastebin tile markers?

floor 3 portal is worth, and prayer one if you are a main. skip the grapple one tho

@@heboxjonge I came to the conclusion that this guide is meant for people who are already competent, which I am a bare bones beginner. I'm taking some time at roofs to focus on money for a little while, then I'll ease in and learn the ropes, then revisit this video when I'm already comfortable.
update: couple weeks ago i bashed my head against the wall unlocking ring+instance. Then looked around at beginner guides: those from Foxx were especially nice. Been getting around 83k/h (pb 6:47), and now back to get better at the places i knew still needed work. I'm really only aiming for 90k/h. Gonna spend most of the month working on seppy, then skill hop to finish it all out. o7

the part ive always struggled with the most is the part i felt like you skipped past. floor 5 with green/yellow/red tiles before sword.. i dont know why but i feel like im garbage at it and always mess it up. do you have any tips past what you said in video?
