      Hey, the Super C's are certainly my favourite in the BC Ferries fleet.

    I heard BCF brought not just the ships but also the designs from FSG. So technically if BCF needs more of these we can build them right here in BC instead of outsourcing jobs.

      That's correct, they did. But they had the vessels built in Germany because they wanted cost certainty, something no BC shipyard was able to guarantee.

    These ships already have issues with cavitation of the props. The design has the ship riding too high in the water, with the result of the props sucking air from the surface when they are in the dock. They are also having issues with the sewage system and turbochargers on the MAK 8M32C engines.
