I cried listening to this song, because I'm so related to it... I lost my job about a year ago, because of some people that worked with me, they did everything to break me down, and unfortunately they got what they wanted. They told me I was a liar, but the truth is that they were all fake. So yeah, nobody's heard from me for months, probably thinking I'm at my worst but I have someone that make me feel better everyday, someone that I love, that now is everything for me, and they will never have something like this. This song made me realise that it doesn't matter that I did some mistakes, because I did one thing right, I choose to be with him ❤ Taylor's songs always fits me so well, that's why I love her.

From the lyrics, she was in the midst of that Kanye scandal when she met Joe. I think she put way too much pressure on that relationship to hold her up. All relationships have problems. That's still one of my favorite lyrics from Taylor. I always wanted my partner to get me a necklace with their initials but I never wanted to ask...I just kinda hoped they'd do it on their own. And then one day my partner at the time (years ago now) got me a heart shaped dog tag with their initials to wear it on a chain round my neck... this song is so meaningful to me, i let my guards down and disappeared from the public view for more than half a year, everyone were totally against it but i don't care, i feel better, i recovered from my eating disorders and learn to feel better about myself. I am literally saving this song for my "one". If ever I dedicate this song to that person, I believe he is my endgame. It's actually scary for me to dedicate a love song to someone because if it doesn't go well, i will always be haunted by the thought of that person. I honestly love how Joe is making her feel this way. It's how every boy should have treated her in the first place, like a Queen, like a Treasure. But I have decided, I would quit music(something which is my fuel), for the time being and focus on myself and my studies. I am very vulnerable so, in case I no longer remain a fan of her in the future, definitely, I would move on...... and I will now, only with the hope that out of all things that would attract me in the future, her music is one, and I would redevote myself to her. I feel this is a very "clean" song, in the way that it probably sounds closer to the original writing Taylor did, like when she creates based only on piano or guitar. It doesn't have that much popish stuff added. Listen to the acoustic version of Out Of The Woods, for example, sounds dark and calm
