I dedicate this song specially for my self. You have been through so much. Yet, you always manage to survive. It shows that, whatever storm you're in right now, you are able to calm it slowly and learn to enjoy life. I'm so proud of you. The smallest changes are still progress. I won't compare you to others because everyone has different timeline and Im happy to be me, I dont want to be anyone else. Your dreams are valid and those may seem so daunting, but I believe in you, that you can achieve your dreams no matter what and I don't care how long it takes. This is one of my favourite Taylor Swift songs that made me fall in love with her music.
I don't think you guys understand how meaningful her picking up the phone at the end of the song is. She has been torn apart so many times by a phone. Joe Jonas, when he broke up with her over a phone conversation. Jake Gyllenhaal when he called after he had missed her birthday party, Kayne and Kim and their conversation over the phone for her consent over a song.

This song is absolutely a peaceful song, it brings peace to my feeling
I’m a guy, I first heard this song on a dark cold night when I was sleeping. My mind wandered and traveled back to my teen years (late 2000s) when I truly experienced true love with my then crush. She would later get married off by her parents to a man who she didn’t love and the marriage broke up prematurely . She gave birth to 2 kids and wasn’t herself after that. I had to move on. But back to the dream, I had the most amazing smile being with her and we kissed for the first time which we never did. Never felt a more soothing peace after that experience.
From Red to Daylight, we all grew up.
But we never grew out of love...
