He was already working off of injury this offseason with mikal. He’s been my favorite suns player since he’s been with the team. We are both left handed, we both play fast and finish out more than up both are quick and most importantly he plays with a lot of emotion and high energy. It’s a shame he won’t get an opportunity to have a big role on a championship team. Im just hoping he becomes the starter and really shows people how good of a scorer he is when given the green light
Yea it’s really beneficial for the spurs but the suns saved 30 m in luxury tax on a player who won’t hit his scoring numbers because of the direction the team is going which is no tradition point guard. Payne is really, I think he’s even better as a volume guy
The improvement of this dude is the reason I hope CP stays in golden state , where this guy goes usually the young guys get better , so doesnt matter is the dude is as annoying as draymond , young guys has to take it and learn as much as possible, at least one year , one year would make wonders , one thing has been proved , the culture in golden state is not as strong as we thought
