Hello Friends, I have a Bryton 530, via bluetooth I can synchronize my activities. but via wifi I never got it, it's all right, it has a Wifi set up everything as the video shows. but when I go to "Data Sync" it only updates the GPS or Firmware (when it has update) but the tracks and others do not synchronize. I wanted to make it sync over wifi because it is much more like it. can you help me please ?

(personally i dont like so much the 530 because of the size,prove me wrong and tell me why is so much better haha ) if i decide to buy de 330t bundle, this one doesent come with the dual speed/cadence sensor and since the cranks and frame of a mountain bike are different from a road bike i would need it, the one it comes with the bundlel wont reach the crank and the frame. would the dual sensor work with the rider 330? thanks guys! excellent product btw! cheer from chile!
Hello Diego, sorry for my late response, yes, I would suggest you to get the 330E, E only comes with the device itself, so you can purchase a combo sensor separately. and if the combo sensor is ANT+, our Rider computer supports it.
I'm using Training Peaks to plan my training programs. I can sync the programs/workouts from Training Peaks into Bryton Active app but am unable to get it to sync into my Bryton Rider 530. Any solution to this issue? Thanks in advance
Hi there, I bought a Rider330 but actually i expect the wlan sync to work the same as for the 530. everything is set up and when i hit the button to sync it successfully syncs. My question: In the manual it says that it syncs automatically. I would expect that i do not need to choose "Sync" in the Menu but that it happens in the background if the Rider330 is still turned on and it finds my wifi. Was this a wrong assumption? do i need to hit the "sync"-option in the menu to trigger the sync each time? Thanks for a clarification, Katrin
I have a Bryton 330. All functions works perfectly (Strava, trainingpeaks, etc) But, the first time I sync it via wifi worked well. Since then It hasnt sync anymore and I'm not able to upload GPX files via website or any trip I create doesnt sync neither. Any advice?

Hello Dennis, do you mean "back to start"? Unfortunately, this is not included in the 530/330, however, we will implement it in the near future, that is definitely a very useful feature.

My Rider 530 unit has been working great for months. I’ve never had a problem with it. When I finish my ride I select the “Data Sync” and in seconds everything is uploaded to my Bryton Active and Strava accounts. For a couple of days now, however, when I try the “Data Sync” it says Please Wait then the screen with a box that says “connecting with my router name” and it freezes. The unit won’t even shut off. The only way I can shut it off is by hitting the three buttons at the same time to reset. When I try the “Data Sync” again the same thing happens. I’ve checked that the unit is fully charged and my wifi is working fine. Please help!

I hit the update Software button and it says it's up to date. That did not fix the problem though. It still freezes when I try Data Sync. Do you know what the problem could be? I haven't changed any settings. I find it odd that it's been working fine for months and I'm suddenly running into this problem.

Hello, no it doesn't support Trainning Peaks at the moment. yes, this example is showing how to connect with normal home wifi, and you can also connect to the internet using Smart phone hotspot sharing.
I guess it still doesn't do it automatically, but you can always manually put your gpx -files in. It be nice to figure out an automatic way for it, since there are multiple ways to do it. Most simple would probably be to use Golden Cheetah and upload from there, still not through wifi though..

Hello guys, perhaps you can help: I have brand new 330 and can't make it sync over Wifi to the active.brytonsport.com service. Wifi itself works fine: it downloaded GPS update and new firmware, but no tracks or planned trips, never. I tried to remove and re-add UUID several times using different ways: on mobile app using QR code, manually or through web app but no luck. UUID is correct, checked in QR code screen and sticker and it matches. Any clues?

Hello, for your first question, no, rider 330/530 only supports ANT+ sensors. and for the 2nd question, we are doing our best to communicate with STRAVA, because we need STRAVA API support if we want to implement STRAVA live segment on our Rider computers. I think your opinion would help, if you can "suggest" STRAVA to speed up the process. haha.

Catalin, I'm sorry, due to the internet policy China has, China devices are paired with China based server, and information going in or out of China will be difficult, I would really suggest you to return your device to your China seller, because the China version app doesn't support STRAVA and other stuffs we are planning to implement on Bryton app in the future. Did exactly this, error happened. followed reset steps...got error with "engineer mode" displayed. then nothing. reset only shows power bar on screen. nothing works. bryton help ppl were not helpful-at all. never, never, buy one of these. i gt the garmins have lots of issues, but between them and wahoo you re wayyy better off. bryton are garbage.
This device was great while it worked. Then data sync stopped uploaded my rides, and then GPS update stopped working too. I'm left with a unit that still records my rides, and I can download them via cable, but since the GPS data is no longer up to date Strava segments are mostly gone. I emailed twice at dev@brytonsport.com but never got a reply. Didi a factory reset twice too, but to no avail. Well, beware that though the device itself is really nice, customer support is virtually non-existent.

No, only at home, I will give it a try at another location.
I've tried multiple hotspots. Has not helped. It always freezes.
