It also makes the visuals more dynamic, which is a bit more entertaining and will definitely help keep the audience engaged throughout. Thank you for the help with choosing apps. Hi, so i opted with Planoly bc of the UX design but now that I'm actually getting ready to schedule my posts and reels it's horrible... There's still manual work involved. I was hoping it would all be automatic once a user saves/uploads all the info/data. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or this is just how the app is built.
The company I work for gets tagged in a lot of images. I use planoly now but you got me thinking about switching to Later. That feature alone would make my content schedule so much easier

I used Planoly for about a month but really missed a lot of features so I upgraded to a paid plan which was $9p/m. Now, makes me think if LATER is that better to pay almost double the price ($15 p/m)? I think I will still give it a go for a month to feed my curiosity :)

I was a little overwhelmed with LATER and I like how you described it. I think I will stick to Planoly to really get myself going on one platform and see how I do and then get more advanced.

Hey! Yes, it would be more of a placeholder. Both platforms haven't added a Reel's function yet, but if you batch recorded your Reels you could upload them to your main feed to see how they fit in with the rest of your content.
That is a good question - I believe with private accounts you need to be friends with someone to have the tag apply but I would definitely test this out as Instagram is always changing their settings and each individual person can change their tagging settings as well.
Do either app or can you think of any app that you could schedule a post with more than one photo? The problem I’m having is that most of my posts are of products and include more than one photo but none of the scheduling app seem to be able to post those kind of posts.

Great video and helpful but your sound is only coming from R so if you've got headphones on, its only going in the right side and really distracting... (i tested other videos and sound and its not my headphones)
How do you record something in such a way that you all of your audio goes only to the right channel except for the clicking noises and music and stuff? It’s really difficult on my ears to the point I can’t even watch this (fwiw I use headphones…)

I’ve been trying to connect my Instagram to Later for 3days now and every time I try to sign in Instagram tells me my pass word is wrong. It’s driving me crazy I don’t know how to fix it 😩I’m just starting a small business and this would be great …. If I can get on.

There have been some updates to Planoly I believe but I believe you can auto-publish to a business account on Instagram. You definitely can on Later.

heads up, you pushed all your voice audio to the left channel. try to dual amplify to hear it on both channels while you edit.

With the mentions, can you only get mentions for public profiles or does it show you tags from private accounts too?

Later lets you do carousel posts with multiple photos you just need to select more than one image and drag them onto the calendar.
@@WandermintCreative definitely trying out LATER! Planoly doesn't allow carousel auto-posting, such a pain.
Awesome, and yes you will have to have the push notification sent to your phone. At least it saves the caption and hashtags for you.

There live chat is pretty good. That is what I have used in the past and they get back to me rather quickly.

None of them schedule to Reels yet, I am hoping they will add this in the near future.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that, have you tried resetting the password? - Otherwise, I would reach out to later to see if its a problem on their end.
Why I don't like Later: They limited the size of the pictures! This is really annoyed

Planoly also has only certain size images available for auto-posting; also you can't auto-post carusel on Planoly.
