For those people saying 'Yea but the sustain and healing is bad'. 1. You don't need magicka or spellpower with these so you just put all you stats into HP and slapp on only regen glyphs. 2. Many procsets have decent stats that still allow you to build pretty balanced. 3. The case where procsets are at their worst is when multiple people attack a smaller group. The free damage and strenght in numbers ends the fight before they're in danger. This is a horrible meta right now and if Zo$ doesn't change course, it'll eventually kill what little remains of ESO PvP.
as a day one vet and someone who lived through the viper tremorscale procalypse i was shocked by the proc buffs in stonethorn... With the lag and proc sets and 30k+ hp meta going around on xbox na rn 1vX is in one the worst places it’s ever been imo. I definitely agree with you zdan about adding a proc cooldown but i also think they should lower the tool tips on all procs back down and make them scale based of player stats so that these 400cp la spammers can’t keep running around near 1 shotting ppl or at least putting them at half health in a single global cooldown. I genuinely don’t think i’ve gotten outplayed or honorably kill in a 1vX this patch yet... it’s either snipe as always or an instant caluurians nuke at awful times or just insane dot pressure from ppl who aren’t even looking at me. I hate complaining about this game cause i love it to death but holy fuck zos
@Linkstraeger I'd rather fight a proc magplar and have a 2 min duel than fight a stamsorc or stamdk with enternal vigor and have a 10min duel people crying over procs that damage players and not procs that buff players and yet they run balorghs biggest carry on the game but don't hear anyone crying about that because everyone runs it
Its real bad in no cp dont need stats since the damage is fixed just stack health and kill people with your armor. Everyone and their mother running crimson. Its stamblade gankers running hunters venom and syvarras. Anyone thats magicka is wrath of elements and either zaan /skoria whatever helm potentially with caluurions carry. Then you get the tanky boys with 50k health crimson and unfathomable. Whenever i get beat i look at my combat log and wonder why i died because the guy didnt even do much to me a light attack or used one skill but then i see 9k caluurions or some other proc that did more damage than all his class skills combined and its like oh yeah he didnt beat me cause he is a better player he did so because the games balance is asshelltrash. I would say its two things catering to casuals because you dont really need to be good to set off a proc and new proc sets being really strong to incentivize people to buy expansions. I love the game but this shit is so busted
Looks like I need to farm Hew's Bane for the Syvarra pieces in multiple weights to sell at my guild traders! It's similar to the Trainee set from the starter zones. Pieces usually sell fast because people need them to fill their sets for cheap reconstruction. Syvarra has 5x the pieces needed as Trainee, and is a lesser known set, and drops in a lesser traveled zone. $$$ CHA CHA CHING $$$
I‘m a ressistance capped dk with ressistances that can go up to over 40k each and I got hit with a zaans by one guy that did 15k damage and his other undodgeable beam did 4k. you need unleashed and nirn on both bars combined with msa 2h, so the backbar is not relevant ;) you could use master 1h/shield, potentates or a 2x piece of a resistance set like death wind ;)

You can't have someone standing there without even their major resist buff and say it's over powered you have 2x 5 piece sets and a monster set specifically designed for heavy attack of course you going to kill him lmao I mean we have nb that can hit an average player for 12k bows and 9k incaps without running proc sets or snipe hitting 14k without hitting procs sets that's because they designed the build specifically to deal that damage like people design builds for procs you think comparing the monster set you have on now having to wait 5 stacks just to deal 7k damages is more op than balorghs? 500 weapon damage with 30k pen? Everyone runs balorghs but you don't see people crying about it that's because everybody runs it people just seem to cry about sets they don't use funny af and tbh I'd rather fight someone with proc sets and a 1v1 would last a few min rather than fighting someone with eternal vigor and having a 10min duel smh
