Just saw the film- one of the best horrors I've seen in some time, and her direction was perfect. The suspense and atmosphere were top notch, and all her directorial choices served the story perfectly. Very mature, effective filmmaking. I'm officially a fan, and will be looking forward to whatever she does next.
Arkasha you have made an amazing first feature that took me back to the terror and dread I felt as a child watching the first donner Omen movie. Your film is beautiful, gnarly, unhygienic and terrifying. I can pay you no higher compliment ❤️
Having seen the movie and really liking it, I thought it was very eel made, probably one of the best horror prequels I think I’ve ever seen in fact, this interview was my first time being introduced to Arkasha and I must say she comes across as a lovely person, very sweet and ultra talented. Can’t wait to see more of her work and hopefully a sequel to The First Omen
Omg, Arkasha Stevenson seems like the best person ever and so far all the stuff she’s made has been epic. Will be exciting to watch her career flourish!
Excited to see where her career goes. There are a few really promising horror directors that are making the genre feel fresh again. Panos Cosmatos is another one I’m extremely interested in following closely
Now i’m thinking there should be a spin off from “The Omen” franchise. a series called “The Chronicles of Buganhagen” it would show him as a young man just starting out in the priesthood then eventually he would notice and become experienced with demon possession and exorcism and later become an exorcist. He always seemed like a mysterious interesting charecter to me. I’d like to see a series about him.
This woman its Genius Adore original 1976 Just like original Beautiful shoot evokative mesmerising 70 is.. Rome 1971.. Adore adore adore Very very scary Instant clasic in may heart My english not good Greetings from Croatia
She really did her homework on this film the key ingredient that works among many things that this film stuck to the origins of the original 1976 film even to the point of playing the original score at the end now that is how it's done hopefully MS KATHLEEN KENNEDY IS WATCHING THIS VIDEO
This film deserves so much love, because it seems like the 20CS marketing department has royally FU with it. Anyways, I saw _Immaculate_ and TFO as a double feature this past Sunday. I really enjoy both films, but kind of pissed at the climax of TFO, through no fault of the creative team, because the possibe ending was set in stone due to it being a prequel.
Cant say enough good stuff. And definitly was her directing style. Far as disney producing movie, good. I been eh with disney a while, but loved this and avatar. Cant remember last disney cartoon i loved soo it was about time, this movie was my fave of year
Also as ps im not sure if am sharing toouch but when i watched this on digital tv only because cant get dvd yet, it made my list of believable movies that i eat i e cream to. And heres why, because if a movie is too unbelievable crazy it takes me out of it while watching but like here characters did believable stuff actually. I mean my general view on life is people can do more terrible stuff than fictional monsters. The supernatural horror films dont scare me but in this movie like the stuff people could do in time period its set in. My mood at times was on edge of seat not comfortable but i thought that was point. Anyway great movie
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or just utter stupidity. They're not talking about the literal first Omen movie, but a new one called The First Omen. Duh?
This was the most predictable horror i have ever seen Listening to this woman speak please for the love of horror, keep her away from more horror movies

Just saw this movie tonight. I'm definitely following this director from now on.
Arkasha Stevenson is AMAZING! Definitely a director on the rise to greatness. Spectacular interview! Thank you! 🙏
She did an exceptional job directing this. Loved the film.

As a devout 'Omen' fan...this was an exceptional movie. Absolutely outstanding. Thank you for a brilliant interview also...great questions.
Arkasha's very sweet and unassuming in interviews but such an amazing talent. Can't wait to see what's next from her.
She is hot.
Job well done on making the movie, and she's definitely one to keep an eye on. Great chat as usual 👏🏼👏🏼🤘🏼
Ladies and gentlemens this is one of the best prequels ever made
Thank you so much for making me aware of Channel Zero! It looks awesome! 😎
A really creative horror anthology series. Loved it
How was this her first movie. So stylish, so creepy & so good!
Since she mentions "Wild At Heart" as an inspiration to be a filmmaker at least she has great taste! Awesome interview.

Amazing flick, can’t wait to own
Care Bears always freaked me out as well as kid…. but this was back in the 80’s like the LAND WITHOUT FEELINGS!

I watched the FIRST Omen in yesterday and he gave me a lot of 🎥Rosemary's Baby vibes... Like it was almost paying homage to that movie.
Good old David Lynch pushing people to do creative stuff 🥰
LOVED THIS MOVIE

Where is the next part of the interview?
She did a great job...no cap
Where is the next part of the interview? Perri mentioned a part 2.

I can’t believe there was another baby!
The first Omen director was Richard Donner, wtf.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or just utter stupidity. They're not talking about the literal first Omen movie, but a new one called The First Omen. Duh?
@EmlynBoyle yeah agreed. This person sounds dumb. The movie is called First Omen. Richard did The Omen
This was the most predictable horror i have ever seen
Listening to this woman speak please for the love of horror, keep her away from more horror movies
Stop making shit Omen movies. There is nothing redeeming about this person's directing abilities.
Jealousy's a terrible thing.
Clearly hasn't seen the movie but comments like a GIANT twat anyway 😂
Did you see the movie. It is very good.
@@michaelivan9066 I did, hence my post.
@@EmlynBoyle If it makes you feel any better, I'd rather watch The First Omen again over, you know, your stop motion stuff.
