I did it! My husband gave up after first attempt. He it can’t be fix . So I gave it a try watched your video 4 times gave it a try and on second try it was a success I fixed it thank you so much for this video. Is it weird that I got so excited what a since of accomplishment 😃
This was precisely what I needed, thanks - FYI for anyone wanting to do this, you don't need a power drill, I was able to do this with my electronics tool kit, as long as the screwdriver types fit, you are good to go.
My husband has mild dementia now and I have never learned how to do the things he used to do. We own an apartment where one of the renters pulled off a towel bar. Your video is so clear that even I think I can master the repair. Bless you.
Thank you so much for explaining about the "negative pressure", or pulling out while you're tightening. Not understanding that little detail has driven me to the brink of insanity in the past!
The toggle bolts are wonderful, which I never heard of. The mess I was thinking I'd have to do, I'm so happy I finally landed on your video! Thank you for sharing 🙂!
Great video. Thanks the toggle bolts are so much stronger than that garbage our builder used - which is just like what you showed was broken in your video.
Thank you so much for this video! I was nervous at first, but I got it done. I’ll keep an eye out for more of your videos. This was extremely helpful, and it gave me the courage I needed for more projects
Definitely helped especially the part about the drywall screw you had shown initially, where you stated that they don’t seem to be a long-term solution. I will go grab those toggle screws.
Good stuff. I add contact cement to the part of the clamp that comes in contact with the dry wall, which allows me to remove and re-use the clamp should I replace the fixture. Not important as they are so cheap; but I just hate wasting a perfectly re-usable clamp. Thanks for the video.
My set screw won't tighten. Towel ring keeps falling off bracket. Can't figure out a solution. It also pulls away from the wall on the bottom when I tighten it.
What do I do if I don't have the bracket? You make it look very easy! So, mine is a solid piece like a hook sort of. I found it at a second hand store & didn't consider what was needed to hang it! Oppsi! Please lmk I have painted it gold & would love to get it on the wall! Thanks so much!
Nice idea, I have used the toggles before but had not considered them for this. Those large spiral drywall anchors are trash - not to mention they leave huge holes.
I do not have a problem with the bracket being ripped off the wall, our problem is the part that attaches to the bracket always falls off. Any tricks for that to keep it from falling off all the time?
Hopefully you figured this out already and I'm just helping the next person, but check the orientation on the bracket. Not just whether the correct side is facing the wall but also whether it's turned the right way. Sometimes you get lucky and there's a "this side up" looking arrow but sometimes you just have to guess. Also, loosen the little piece (screw?) that holds the cover to the bracket as much as possible when you're putting the cover on. Sometimes that little piece catches in a false set.
The tiny pin that secures the rod to the wall bracket is broken, so I am looking for a way to remove it. Being both small, and flush against the wall are two strikes against it. Small pliers didn't do the trick. Looking for another way to removed it from the wall without unnecessarily damaging the wall.
Thanks I had difficulty with those bathroom accessories, such a tiny screw on the bottom, who can see it, they are only design in the market, and whoever designed those, are really a dump person. They are always fallen.
Thank you! New homeowner here and I’m sure you just saved me $100 which seems to be the basic rate for the smallest tasks lately.
The tiny screw! Exactly the info I needed. Information was straight to the point but thorough.
Thanks a lot. Repaired the bathroom towel holders in two of my bathrooms, thanks to your video. Very simple and efficient.

@@ericd6932 Thank you again. I did it and it worked.
So clear . .can I just buy the screw? That's what fell off....!!
Thank you so much for explaining about the "negative pressure", or pulling out while you're tightening. Not understanding that little detail has driven me to the brink of insanity in the past!

What if the hole is larger than the size of hole for the toggle bolt? How would you get the hole filled enough b4 using the toggle?
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Projects can be so intimidating to me.

Thanks worked like a charm for me.

Thank you for this video! I thought for sure this was going to be much worse when my holder fell out of the fixture.

Good video very well explained.
Thanks for this. I have this issue now in my bathroom.
So helpful! Thank you!
Thanks! That’s what I needed!
This is super helpful!! Thank you! If I were to reposition the holder, is it possible to take the toggle out? 🤔
Nice guide. Will be useful. Do you have any DIY video about how to repair a cracked "plastic" bath?
No, but ithere are fiberglass kits you can get: amzn.to/3hZKL6q
Thank you Andrew. Its a great hack
Wow very helpful!!!!! Thank you

Big help. Thank you.
Exactly shat I needed this am. Thank you.
Thank you, it helped me a lot
Can I use this same method on the two brackets that hold the towel bar?
Great idea
Thank you so much!

Still having this problem. I even bought a new rack just for the screw in it. It was longer, but apparently not long enough.
Thank you! Helped a lot. =)
I did it, thank u soooo much😊
Thank you I have one to fix .
Thank you
Thanks dad.
WOW! Thank you 🙏🏾
Please how do I get the original one off first????????
Wish I can fix mine towel rack. It’s different than that one.
Thank you!
Thanks!!
I can't figure out how to get the ring off the wall to fix it. I was hoping for a step by step of how to take it off the wall without ripping it off

Thank you so much, my GF keeps breaking stuff around my house.
How to remove this
