  • @rags15061
    @rags15061 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +27

    I see a lot of ppl talking about him blowing out his arm because of throwing such high heat. But hes not a pure heat pitcher. He HAS that heat and uses it, but most of his pitches he throws are offspeed. He does that because with such a fast fastball, they have to either sit and wait on the fastball or hope its the right offspeed pitch you think hes going to throw. If he throws the opposite, goodluck adjusting to it because you wont.

    • @sledgehammer5033

    • @brandonlm0125
      @brandonlm0125 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Another point they miss is that he’s massive! 92mph to him is having a catch. When he throws 100+ he’s not throwing everything he has. He throws 100 consistently with ease and they think he’s just running on fumes and determination. Hes the outlier, not the norm.

    what pitch is thrown at 10:19 for a ball? that thing is all over the place. would be neat if he could throw it far out to the right then just clip the inside corner for a K

      curveball. Watch his first start he did exactly as you said for a strike.

    Man this kid reminds me of Roge4r Clemens, but he is so unique in the way his arm doesn't give away his pitches at all. It almost looks like a slider sometime when he throws that sinker, but he holds in a way ive never seen.. Kids Special. When he is in that zone, he is unhittable at only 22 thats crazy

  • @4six3

    He has a smooth delivery. Non-violent. He has pitched like this his whole life. He is very durable. He will be around a long time

    I really wish MLB managers would let pitchers pitch complete games. It’s taken one of the most exciting parts of the game away. If Nolan Ryan could handle 300 innings a season, and pitch into his 40’s, these pitchers can handle at least 8. Especially with the training and diet they get these days.

    He better keep the consistency up throughout his career and worry less about the speeds he throws but he’s the real deal, I like the confidence he’s got coming into the league and he’ll get humbled a ton but he’ll definitely be a head turner every time he plays. That splitter is wack, good luck hitting that any day of the week. 😮 no thanks
