    Hey loved how informative you were in the video !!
    I'm actually making druzy pendants with gold leaf base. Now I'm not sure what to use as a sealant. Could you please recommend me a few ?

    • @scrappin4myboys
      @scrappin4myboys  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! glad u found the video informative. I am not really familiar with sealants as I dont really use them in in my crafts. So unfortunately I am not able to provide any suggestions on what u can use. The only sealant I ever use is an acrylic spray sealer for my mixed media canvases.

    Oh my goodness those cards you make are amazing so stunning, don't you worry people would take your designs for themselves as this is a unique look, I only ask because I was going to do some tutorials on here but I was advised that it could happen. Also I don't do nasty criticism well advice I accept but this is a worry of mine.
    Do you have any advice for me with this please.
    Regards Sharon

    • @scrappin4myboys

      Thank you so much, glad you enjoy the cards. The potential for someone taking and using designs shown are definitely high. I dont mind people re-creating my cards at all, I just hope they would let others know and give credit to the original designer. I know several who use them but always mention me in the facebook posts or wherever they post their pictures. All I respectfully ask is that no one sell cards they re-create but people still do it anyway. Sadly youtube can be a very negative place, so if you don't do well with nasty messages then I advise you to not post on youtube. I constantly get negative messages, but I have a very thick skin and I dont care about negative comments. My feelings do not get hurt at all. So i filter comments out, I have all my comments set to be approved prior to them being posted on my videos, If i read the comment and its negative without being constructive I simply do not approve it. My channel is meant to be a positive place and will not support anyone being negative. I get tons of negative messages and thumbs down (dislikes) on every single video but thats ok. It doesnt bother me. Art is subjective what one person thinks is beautiful, another will hate it.

    Beautiful cards using the flakes. I have some from a previous craft show just screaming to be used. Lol! After watching your video I’m more inspired to start this new craft adventure. My question is about the foam block. You mentioned you cut a piece off. Where did you get the foam? Do you have an alternative to where I can purchase the foam similar to what you used in the video?

    • @scrappin4myboys
      @scrappin4myboys  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sponge with the foam backing is the Inkssentials Rub It Scrub It Pad - by Ranger. I bought mine online... Not sure where you can find it in-store. Hobby Lobby online has it, only $3.49 not sure if its in-store tho. Amazon has it as a Ranger Rub It Scrub It Pad for $6.49. Im sure other online retailers will have it. It is a rubber stamp cleaner. Try different tools to see what can work, I know some ppl have use a stencil brush or a stipple brush as well. I just prefer the sponge. Have fun with your flakes when you use them!

    Can you get A4 double sided sticky as I live in England some supplies vary and I find postage from USA too much for me.

    • @scrappin4myboys
      @scrappin4myboys  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you definitely can use A4 dbl sided sticky sheets. Any double sided adhesive works. We have double sided sheets here as well I use the rolls since it is more ideal for me than the sheets.
