Whoever chose the cast was a genius--they were perfect individually as well as how they played off each other. The backdrop of the mansion contrasted with the lifestyle of the hillbillies was hilarious. Nancy Kulp was outstanding as Miss Hathaway--no one else could have brought out the best of that character. I remember her in a Twilight Zone episode, and she was on an episode of The Pet Set, with Betty White and Allen Ludden. A great actress.

Miss Nancy was one of the best actors I've ever seen. Always...she gave her effort to the piece. Sometimes Miss Jane was foolish and man- hungry. Most of the time she was astoundingly intelligent and kind- the voice of reason. The secretary pool adored her because she was so supportive and affirming to her admiring coworkers. Miss Nancy was enthusiastic in her portrayal of whatever the script asked her to be that week. She was a real trouper.
