Its the GR (General Releash), but pretty much the same as the E.G. collab from last year, and Hoka One One is from New Zealand :).

These aren't Engineered Garments. Those were released last year. The ones released this month are the exact same shoes. The only difference is Hoka's slogan "Time to Fly" is on the stripe running down the middle instead of "Engineered Garments." FYI, EG is a Japanese clothing brand based out of NY with a huge cult streetwear/menswear following. Nice first video!

Howard, thanks for the inside scoop! I appreciate your feedback! Do you own a pair of these?

Is it really a Japanese clothing brand? Seems like American clothing by a Japanese guy

@@adoboFosho it is a japanese company, it's under the Nepenthes family tree - but EG is based in NY

Sneaker Troy i may just spend the extra dough and use stockx or goat. these are too good to pass up. is the padding and sole thick on the forefoot too? i hate nike and adidas because the padding in the forefoot is so thin.

drinkingpoolwater these have superior cushioning! IMO no other brand comes close to Hoka, it's definitely worth the invest! I have two pairs..taupe and burnt olive!

This shoe you are referring to as a collaboration between EG and Hoka is in fact the GR version, not the collab.
Also, Hoka is FRENCH, has been created by two former Salomon conceptors. It has been a few years ago bought by an American group based in California but it is still handled from France :)

I usually wear 42 2/3 size and There we're now only 44 and up sizes. Should I go for it? I do love the little extra space tho and since the laces go really far and I can adjust it. Should it be okay?

W34RD07 thanks for the comment! I'm a solid 10.5 and when I bought these they have a little toe room. Great fit and even better cushioning! Hope this helps

Hi, thinking about to get one. Can I ask...Is it true size? I'm wearing Adidas Stan Smith UK10...can I go with the 44 2/3 in the hoka website?
    Best,
