“No explosion”? Then what the hell is that at 4:51? Why are you making things up just to laugh at the cutscene? How is it “low effort” if it looks exactly like what it’s supposed to be?
I remember my grandpa got me this game for like $15 and loved the hell out of it. Then I saved up all of the loose change I could find to get the PS2 version
Getting this game and the Star Wars Transformers Millennium Falcon was one of the best Christmas gifts of all time. I enjoyed playing this game, even after getting the console version since I could take this wherever I went back then.
10:07 I believe the intended way to do it is to hit the rancor over and over until he starts to turn “red”, which makes him angry and then will start to move faster and more frequently towards you. Rather than if u just leave him be. Then since he is angry he will follow you to the door easier. Also no baby rancor mention😢 . It was a great video tho! Keep it up!
Nostalgia is our family’s favourite thing, especially [for] these classic Lego games! Your videos and streams are great, too! We just love your channel! Nice work! 👍👏
I love all these Lego Star Wars videos I have so many fond memories of playing it on the psp so happy someone is making videos like these keep up the good work ❤️
From what I understand, there is a 100% bonus for this game. Which is unlocking a playable "baby" Rancor. (I've only heard this though, never confirmed for myself.) I think I do prefer the original game to this one. It may have been tedious, but at least there was some challenge to it. 6:57 I can't believe they sneaked in an Old Republic easter egg into a LEGO game! That's just amazing.
I love this game. It's very underrated as a low brainpower handheld game. It's pretty much the only game I 100 percented as a kid, but it's infuriating how it's at 99 percent completion yet according to all online guides, it's at 100 percent. I don't know if I actually missed something (along with every single guide writer) or if it glitched.
BROOOO SAME. I actually asked the question on Reddit years back. Im also stuck at 99% and idk a single person who has gotten 100%. Every single person that claimed they got 100% could never provide pics.
I have fond memories of this game. One of the best gba games for sure, very impressive on a technical level and really nice graphical style. Not to mention the sfx and I even enjoyed the quirky cutscenes. The best version of Lego Star Wars on the Gameboy one could wish for imho.
This and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga show Yoda’s death and Luke revealing to Leia that they’re twins. Baby Rancor is the only exclusive character in this version to not be playable in neither Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens nor Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. R2-Q5 is the only exclusive character in this game to be playable in The Complete Saga. There are other Lego games on home console/PC beside The Skywalker Saga where AI controlled characters can defeat enemies. This version lacks a character creator unlike the other versions. Lego Dimensions & Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga also lack a character creator. The Sith Mode extra turns the lightsabers red and makes the consequences of dying be more like the previous game. I was in 1st Grade when this game came out. The 36 playable characters in this game is likely due to the amount of space on the Game Boy Advance Game Paks. This version lets you duel Darth Vader as Luke on the second Death Star, unlike the other versions, due to the lack of multiplayer.
Brilliant! You finally got the Lego Star Wars II video uploaded! I am chuffed to see it! Your narration was canorous as well! Thank you for sharing! Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧🇮🇹 *P.S. Will we be getting a retrospective video of The Complete Saga for the Nintendo DS?
It was my introduction to Lego games and I still like it a lot to this day It was the first game I ever 100%d, I was obsessed with it but surprisingly I never got any interest in Star Wars, just the Lego games
To be fair there is a LOT of Lego Star wars fans that are not interested in regular Star wars which is insane.

@@cnk9822 I guess the Lego games are just that good, making people get and enjoy a game about a universe they wouldn't care about if not for said games
I honestly hope in the future people make mods/rom hacks for both of these games that actually improves upon the gameplay experience a WHOLE lot better then what we actually got I would love to experience better versions of both the games on the gba (If that even is possible..)
I'm not sure specifically which lego games do have the ai 2nd character do stuff, but it's inconsistent across games. Sometimes they'll attack but do no damage, sometimes they'll attack and even kill enemies, and sometimes they'll do absolutely nothing and either be ignored while you fight or constantly get attacked and die. It's very strange how they never fully decide on what to do for them.
This may seem silly but it's not an exaggeration to say this game was the most hyped I've probably ever been for a game release. I played the crap out of the first one and when this trailer dropped, I watched the trailer basically every day until it released and I got to go get the GBA version from Toys R Us. Age 7 was a fun year.
I don't have much advice on the video. Maybe tightening the script up in a few places so you aren't repeating phrases so often? Also if you wanted another GBA Star Wars game to review, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones from 2002. Played that game a ton as a kid, curious how well it holds up. Keep up the hard work, good videos so far. Hope this channel grows.
While I appreciate the presentation in this game, the game has too many frustrating gameplay elements like too much enemy spam and slowdown along with the not so good camera and really no way to grind studs besides maybe Jedi Destiny, but other than that this game is playable and A decent attempt at best for being a Lego Star Wars GBA experience 😉
I could never complete this game because I had a defective cartridge that wouldn't save my progress Every time I switched on I had to start again from 0% completion
Honestly, I prefer the first GBA LSW game. Yes that game is very weird, but I think it controls and runs better than this game. This game is also a lot more frustrating in areas the first wasn’t, it’s near impossible to get True Jedi in some of the levels without the invincibility extra. You lose way too many studs when you die and aren’t able to pick up anywhere near the amount you dropped.
The combat in the first game also made up for the checkpoints by giving the characters special combat abilities, lightsaber combos, etc. Sure, the gameplay loop is more familiar in the second gba game, but it doesn’t adapt enough of the console’s combat to be an actual improvement. They basically took away everything unique about the first game’s combat without adding things from the console like autolock fire.
All three of the games from AMAZE Entertainment are in a league of their own as the most abysmal LEGO games Tt Games has ever published, and that’s coming from me who has 100% all 51 traditional-styled LEGO games. That’s just about every LEGO game ever that has a stud meter appear in it and has been published by Tt Games. As a completionist, I’m dead serious when I say this game is the worst of all 51 of them and was the worst overall experience because of the sheer amount of grinding you have to do to buy everything in the shop. There are NO stud multipliers and you barely get studs from the levels, even if you grind. The worst part is the maximum percentage the game can get to is 99% so it looks like the odd one out in my collection of 100% completion screenshots. I hate this game PASSIONATELY. Heed my warning to never play this.
Bro that low effort alderaan blowing up scene had me absolutely dying, no explosion, the planet just poofed in a puff of smoke, and gone lmao

The planet before getting shot really went: 🌏❓
the GBA version is literally an addiction. in hours I probably have somewhere around 1000 just on it.
This game’s extras are still some of my favorites in the whole series and I wouldn’t have it any other way lol

I love this version of the game in fact I own it rn. I like that it’s closer to the console version than the DS port 😂

I never could get true jedi on that final falcon mission. It was all I needed for 100% and I couldn't do it
I like your voice. I’ll sub.
