Just noticed this channel. I did the same things on my 2002 Rosa, which I bought from a mine site for scrap price. I managed to squeeze in a domestic 240 air conditioning system, with the outdoor unit completely hidden from view (it's behind the passenger's rear wheel) Mine had been driving on dirt roads only, around the Laverton area. It was covered in dust inside and out. Yours is very clean compared to mine. The red dirt also made it rust around the rear wheel arches. I welded in new arches that I cut out of a wreck. I would keep all the foam to insulate the roof and walls, they work as good as anything and do not absorb moisture. I kept my conversion very light (made sandwich panels) to be able to drive on a C-license. Including the purchase, I am 40k in now....
Our was CLEAN compared to yours?! Woah.. I can only imagine. We've done all new insulation now, this video is from quite a while ago now. We actually purchased a split system yesterday, would love it if you could send through some photos of where you have put the outdoor unit if possible? Please send them to one4tr@gmail.com we've been thinking of ways to mount it on the back on a slider to it doesn't cover the lights while we drive, but then we can still access the back door when stopped.. would be so keen on a different option! 40K in? It's so easy for the money for add up.. we severely underestimated the total cost.. hahaha. Is it finished now?
We just purchased a 2005 Rosa with a wheel chair hoist installed to do the same thing. Is an auto but due to my disability getting someone to build for us loved you episode 1
Hi Mark! Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Oh how exciting! Great that you could get one with a wheelchair hoist also, I'm sure once it's done you will make wonderful memories travelling.
Found your skoolie build today. Just watched this video, I suspect you will more and more subscribers soon. Well got a few more videos to binge on tonight. BillynNC-US.
Hey Billy! Welcome to our channel! 😊 Ah we miss the US!!! How is the Summer weather over there? Thank you for your kind words, we hope you enjoy the videos. 😊😊😊
Hey Jeremy, great to see someone doing a Rosa. We are thinking of converting one as well. We had an old Winnebago we used in the USA, but due to COVID had to cut short our 9 month trip. So now back home in Oz wanting to do what you are doing with the Rosa. Looking forward to your next video. Do you have a plan on how you are setting up the bus? Cheers Andrew.
Hey Andrew, sorry to hear about your US trip.. hopefully everything goes back to normal soon so we can travel internationally again.. but in the meantime, great news about the Rosa adventure! We do have everything planned out and measured, however everyone says that once you start your layout will change multiple times. 😅
Hey mate, the bus itself was under $10,000 once we got it from Sydney to QLD. We will be doing a breakdown of all costs involved from purchase to completion once the bus is finished. 😊
I would like to get in contact with you guys to exchange ideas. I am in Perth WA. But obviously I am not gonna post my email address here. Can you send a personal message or such?
I don't think you can send direct messages on here - you can email us on one4tr@gmail.com or find us on instagram & facebook. Highly recommend joining 'Mitsubishi Rosa Australia' on facebook too, they have some wonderful ideas and tips. :)

😂 can’t believe that dust got under all those panels! So impressed with you guys!
It was EVERYWHERE!!! Off camera I pressure washed, vacuumed and used an air compressor over and over to get it all... it felt never ending! 😅

Great fun, enjoy. So worth it on the first trip. Plan the floor layout. Make plumbing and electrical easy to get to for repair and upgrades.

Great job with the demo. Following!
Thanks!! It was a bit of a mission in the hottest month of the year, but we got there! 😅
Reminds me of Paul Vautin.

They're ALWAYS orange and red, it's just the color they all seem to end up no matter where they are in Australia
It never ended.. 😅
Where did you get your bus from? I have just moved to the Fraser Coast and looking to buy in the next 6 months, thanks
Hey there! We purchased it from down in Sydney, we were living in NZ at the time and just found it online
Fantastic :)
Thanks!!
That was great, loving your beautiful loyal pooch. Which part of Qld are you in?
Simba is just the best! He'll be in loads of the upcoming vids!
We're just outside of Brisbane.
Remember to put a piece of foam rubber over the AC unit straight away because you will bash your head on it a thousand times until its removed.
Thanks for the info! Luckily we got it removed before any head injuries occured.. haha
What’s the yellow car in your dads shed?
Chevrolet Belair 😊
How much did the bus cost please?
