Liking the no nonsense approach to the cluster treatment along with the convertible stance options, as just committing to tearing the front back apart before knowing if its fine already. Living with a while makes good sense.
Really really nice work you do on this CM400. I'm watching your videos here from Brazil. Keep making these incredible videos please . I will post your video in a group of cafe racers here in Brazil for the people who constantly ask for ideas to cut the chassis, your videos gave me an inspiration to customize my CB400, the Brazilian sister of the CM400 . Success in your project. Cheers
Great videos! I’m building a similar unit. Your videos are very helpful. Can you send me the link to the speedometer you used? What did you end up doing for the oil pressure light? Thanks Steve!
I have the same bike as you and I wanted to see if you could tell me what wires on the gauge you wired up to the bike like what colors? I know it might be a pain but it would really help, having some trouble with mine.
Hi , what top yoke have you used ?? I am modding a CB400N and need to drop the forks thro the top yoke but it not possible with the old pressed steel one.
Hi Steve, have you ever shortened a speedo or tacho cable? I'm at the stage of trying to do it in my cb360, trying to track down the die tool for putting a new square on is proving troublesome! Great channel, Dan.
Hey Dan, no, I've never tried it. Usually what I'll do is search a vendor for a similar part for another bike and see if it has specs for the length I need. I once looked into the die for making a/c lines, turned out cheaper to hire someone else to do it! Good Luck! Cheers
Awsome stuff. QUESTION do you have any tips on getting rear tires inflated after mounting. I'm in a bit of a pickle all I have is a pancake compressor. I have already tried the starting fluid trick but dont want to blow my self up.
Thanks for watching! The one trick I have seen that may help you is to unscrew (remove) the valve stem core when you try to inflate it. The short high volume of air my be enough to get it seated. Good luck

That looks to be a pretty cool build there. Great video 👍 (I know I’m late on this comment 😵💫)
Can you put a link for the speedo you used?
Can you provide the link to the Speedo you used for this build? Thank you! All I can find are the speedos with the red and black wires only.
Did you have trouble getting the neutral light to work on that speedo? I have the same one and couldn't get it to work on my cb400
What Clip-On Handlebars did you use?

What kind of rims and tires you use?
Hey Jesse, the rims are stock to the CM400. Tires are Metzeler ME880 Marathon. Front is 100/90-18. Rear MT90B16

These are too good
