Happy Birthday, Shane! I can honestly say I have never come across a goat raising book but if I do, I will definitely pick it up. I guess that applies to other farm animals as well?

Thank YOU for the views! We love the videos.
Happy Birthday! All the best people were born in September! The 4th here. :)
I can't sell the Dummies books for the life of me, but THAT book, I would've gotten. You're right. The odd ones sell.
And I can't sell the Biblical books for the life of me either, but I do have a few Bibles listed, but I've just gotten very low ball offers, like $1 offers with a nice letter letting me know that this person has a Bible ministry and would like me to donate my Bibles to him. I'm disabled and my friends have to help me get food, so I'm sorry but I can't give away books. And in the meantime, every month, the Bibles get relisted and Ebay charges me 35¢ to relist them. Very discouraging. Maybe I should donate the Bibles, but again, they want ME to also pay the shipping. Oy vey.

I have the way of Vastu. 👍

Vastu is the type of architecture preferred by Maharashi Mahesh Yogi, aka the guru of the Beatles. Transcendental Meditation as practiced by David Lynch, Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, all the big Hollywood types. The Maharishi built an entire compound in Fairfield Iowa of all places, based around the principles of Vastu architecture - massive domed structures, all the buildings are symmetrical and face east, etc - there's all kinds of strange rules the buildings follow. All supposed to create harmony for Transcendental Meditation. The TM organization is extremely wealthy and owns property all over the world, so they must be doing something right lol

Happy Birthday! I always enjoy your videos. I am new to selling and I am slow at comping books when I am at the thrift stores. What do use to "scan" books when you are sourcing?

I have been using ScoutIQ since I started on Amazon as well. I like it but cost with Amazon sell account and the ScoutIQ together runs $40-50 month.
Before then comps were just eBay lookups. eBay has improved the barcode scanner. It used to be the redline software but the newer image scan works better than the old.

Have you ever tried actually reading Derrida? Challenging difficult stuff - deconstructionism, early post modern theory. If you like Michel Foucault or Martin Heidegger you'd absolutely looove Derrida lol
Broke my brain after about three pages but I had to read it in school.

I’ve never tried ready Derrida. Makes my head hurt thinking about it. I all for being a life long learner- but the effort of that is beyond my desire!

I understand that Amazon books will sell for a premium over eBay, but when I did a sold comp on eBay for the Vastu book, there were only two which recently sold for $6.36 with free shipping and $2.91 +$4.49 shipping. But, there are two currently listed for $85 and $34. If I had seen that at a an estate sale, I think I would have passed on it due to the sold comps being so low and assuming the high listings will never sell. Do you think you'll get $25-$35 for it on Amazon? Thanks.

This one is weird on that front- on Amazon- the lowest priced book is used and merchant filled for $27. On ScoutIQ it has an escore of 9- meaning one sells about every 20 days. I haven’t done more in depth Keepa research but I think it will sell on Amazon for that price. I think a lot of people just hit buy and don’t think about shopping around on eBay or other places. I will have to report when it sells.
