It's white, indicating the crossing works and detects no train. If by chance you don't see any lights blinking, then you would have to cross at your own risk.
@@Rexyboygamer-Vlogs I genuinely love when I can help people 10 years on like this! Interestingly, a lot of videos of Czech and Slovak crossings have come out where that light is very slow to re-illuminate. Probably because it's waiting for the train to get completely off the detection circuit even in the outgoing direction - a primitive way of doing it.
What color is the blinking (flashing) center (o) ? The electricity sent to the left lamp also sounds the horn. In the USA we use a metal bell. Now the bells are electronic loudspeaker bells.
Center light is a continuously white flashing positive light indicating that the level crossing is free both after and before a train passes over pressure plates on the rails from both ways.
@@AlpheccaMeridiana Thank you. In China, the lower middle light is blue. It turns off when the red lights flash. Apparently the blue light indicates thathe system is receiving electricity and should be working. A sign on the signal translates: 'No light, do not use.' No blue light means no power and the *(o)_(o)* will not warn of approaching trains. At nighthe blue lights make the crossings easily noticeable because few other lights are blue. Probably not pressure plates. Probably low voltage through one rail, through a relay and back through the otherail. When the steel railcar wheels electrically shunthe rails, the relay drops, closing contacts which send power to the signal system.
This is an old czech level crossing, among czech railfans its called ,,SSSR,, (USSR) now idk why but speculate its because they were used in the communist Czechoslovakia, now in czechia they are almost extinct, same in slovakia but there is 1 SSSR crossing in the slovakian village of Jablonica and Lastovce which hasnt and wont be modernized any time soon because the railway line on which the Jablonica railroad crossing stands is almost abandoned and the line on which the SSSR crossing from Lastovce stands was declared abandoned, anyways the SSSR usually has a buzzer but sometimes it has the classic bell like the one in Jablonica, there were also other type of railroad crossing in the communist Czechoslovakia and it was called ,,VÚD,, (wood) and it was mainly used on some less active railroad lines, the VÚD nowdays was modified to have a white light but there are still some classic VÙD like in the Slovakian village of Udavske.
