I just started sewing and was only learning the regular, backstitch, and blanket stitch. while attempting the blanket stitch the first few attempts i kept making this stitch. i didn't realize it was a legitimate pattern, i kept berating myself. 😂

That's not like any embroidery floss I've seen. I was going to ask the same question. It's got a very silky Sheen so I'm wondering what fiber it is? And it has way more than six strands.
