its ironic that sylvana's serves the boss of the man that killed her and turned her into what she is now,in the end the question is is she using the jailer or is the jailer using her.

I don't know, it seems like Sylvanas is still going to turn Anduin. Notice this? When speaking to Anduin, she quotes the Jailer word for word "we have not come this far only to falter now". It also wouldn't make for a useful plot device to have Sylvanas betray the Jailer before he ascends. He doesn't have the Frostmourne or Helm yet, and doesn't have Anduin. I think it's possible he will temporarily gain a death knight Anduin but Anduin gets "saved" by the soul arbiters/Valkyries and is given a second chance. But not before he get to see him used against his will as a Shadow Priest. 😎
@@muhhamadavdol3781 I actually think it will be Arthas who frees Anduin think about it Arthas is somewhere in the maw because Uther yeeted him into it. He is also the one with most experience being controlled by Mourneblades.

Arthas destroyed and murdered a bunch of people too, he destroyed countless cities, tricked his men to continue serving him when chasing after Malganis before he put on the helm? What exactly is the difference? As far as I'm aware, neither of them do. They're reflections of each other.

The reference to the WoTLK cinematic is the best part from the cinematic team. I guess they show how Sylvanas slowly became what she hated the most. And is now almost going to do to Anduin what Arthas did to her.
Do you remember what King Terenas said about Arthas in the Lich King Cinematic? HOW when Arthas was born the forests of Lorderon whispered his name? Doesn't that mean that Arthas is destined to rest in the Eternal Dream of the forests? It would be a nice twist. But honestly I hope he make a comeback and we see him turn into this container of all the souls that he had killed with Frostmourne now in a harmony and become a very powerful character in the story.

well technically...the forests of Lordaron were the resting place of an Old God's minion that was only semi-dead, so I'd take any thing those forests say with a grain of salt.
I just realized that the Mourn Blade Sylvanis is threatening Anduin with looks so so much like his father Varians old sword Shalamayne. Damn that is some harsh Irony there.
Wait It must have been his sword aka Shalamayne that the jailer used as the base to make the mourn blade as Anduin hasn't had it since his capture. It is corrupted Shalamayne.
They turned his father's sword into that weapon to possess Anduin with. I feel like the wolf spirit it is bound to is going to be mad someine tainted his gift to Varian with the shackles of death. Seems like an immortal wolf is about to get up and slash through the Maw like Ursoc woken during hibernation. There is going to be some fury to pay just watch. Ancient massively powerful Wolf Titans tend to hate being usurped even by a banshee and death itself. I feel some reckoning coming they did not for see also it's about time the titans shake off their cobwebs again and start unleashing some punishments because death and that leader venthyr knew better than to stomp over the territories of their fellow titans and undead
I can only imagine that we will eventually be able to free the Rune Carvers other hand and then he will use both to craft a 2nd even more powerful legendary for us to use. Unlocking the hand will probably be what allows us to equip 2 legendaries.
Still love to get a legendary questline to forge our own mourneblade. Kinda like shadowmourne but actually better. Would be neat! And then gather screaming souls in agony for the dps increase!
@@Athelarius A legendary weapon of that sort would be awesome but many would complain that it was done in Legion and that an item increasing in power was used in both Legion and BfA and should have been given at the start of the expansion as you could argue that all the playtime since SL launch is wasted item progress. Personally I'd still enjoy it but I can see where the other perspective is coming from.
It seems pretty obvious that Sylvannas won't be able to do the deed and bind Anduin to the blade. All that talk of submission in that final confrontation, she wasn't trying to persuade him, he was trying to persuade herself. It's like Anduin said, she is looking for a reason, an excuse, to finally let go of the hope that is keeping the Ranger General alive and holding the Banshee Queen back.
It's tragic how sylvanas has become the very thing she hated the most. She has allowed herself to become just like the lich King the one that took everything from her and you can see she realizes what she had done was exactly what Arthus had done to her all those years ago. Turely a tragedy of her own making.
i knew when Slyvanas raised that blade she reminded me of Arthas! she is only Arthas 2.0 at this point..... She committed mass genocide with the burning of Teldrasill like how Arthas with the Blood Elves and Silvermoon. She raised the dead to summit to her will just like Arthas. And just like Arthas did to her, Slyvanas binded Anduin's soul to the jailer's will
Tbf though those old gods etc did send her visions. Arthas def got that a bit too w Frostmourne in RoC, but I do feel Sylvanas didn’t welcome it in so easily as he did. Idk it’s hard for me not to Stan her, hers was my favorite arc in RoC-> FT.
Through most part of the cutscenes with windrunner and anduin it kinda seems that there is some sort of ship going on here since sylvanas was doing what she could to persuade him. Yes i know that it was cause of what he figured out but im just pointing something out
@@ausmac5287 You have to be dead and risen to be a Death Knight. And Anduin is simply being controlled by domination magic. Death Knights still have free will, and were dead. Anduin has no free will, currently, and is alive.
Arthas wasn't dead when he became a Death Knight in warcraft 3. Also Arthas was under some sort of corruption from the Litch King at the time as well, especially the Death Knights from the original starting zone.
I really hope they show Arthas in some way, helping us or whatever, his story for me was finished but since they showed that he’s in the maw, it’s clearly not and would be wasted potential.
Arthas is the main protagonist going back to WC3... his story wont be over until he wins. They already set him up since WC3 to be the savior of the Humans and King of Lordaeron / Head of the Alliance.
its the same thing just with diffirent charc and invirements,big baddy or big misunderstood person causes harm and death and the heroes have to stop him. not manny of these story's end in an unepxected way its usualy always the same blueprint.
Arthas was naive and was manipulated but once he touched that blade, he was the first victim of Frostmourne. Arthas story is one of tragedy but he deserves to have peace.
Two possible endings I envision for the Sylvanas' Choice cinematic: #1: Sylvanas: I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it. Will you help me, Anduin? Anduin: Yes. Anything, Sylvanas. *grabs Shalamourne* Sylvanas: *shoves the blade through his chest* Thank you. #2 (cringe up ahead for this one): Sylvanas: I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it. Anduin: Light powers of course lol.
Nah its too early for that. I think she will do what the Lich King did and then they can go 2 ways, either make her succumb fully to evil or have nightmares because she did exactly what was done to her and have her redemption ark where she helps stopping the Jailer.

@@GrrantProperr Well Garosh lost to magic as well in his 1v1 duel. As for the story it would be cool if Sylvanas speaks to Arthas. Both of them are/were villians connected to the Jailor and it would be cool if she forgives him and lifts the weight from her heart this way and then team up with him. As for the people that hate her on Azeroth, well it will create a conflict between people that want to kill her and those that not necessarily want to protect her, but want her to live so she can redeem herself (see Anduin cuz he is peaceful and maybe Jaina because she learned to forgive in the past to ppl).
Option #1 sounds familiar, i know the whole arthas-uther plot was like star wars III (and i know the game came before the movie) but doing this again (kylo ren-han solo plot) it's just cliche

Also thought this, they put emphasis on never saying he was dead, just gone. Makes a lot of sense. A master Blacksmith goes missing, one known for making mad asf shit, and one just happens to be chained up in Torgast, with a loss of memory so he doesn't know who he is.
I like how they're actively trying to change pre established lore and make Arthas out to be this super huge monster who was always going to turn into basically azeroth hitler and Fostmourne and the helm/jailer had ZERO influence over him, all that he did was purely his decision making and it was all to revel in being an evil guy....jesus christ the writing has become terrible....
Where did you get that? From what I see in this video it is the exact opposite of what you said and aligns with what we know about Frostmourne and the Helm all this time.
I remember days when warcraft was about horde vs alliance with horde bad guys and alliance good... good simple days. I played wow because of good lore... but for this, they do not derserve a cent from my wallet. I tried to return for classic, but its plagued with boosting and all that crap so nope. For me warcraft end with defeat of lich king (I should say lich king 1.0-There is and will be more versions....)
@@MrLuca12121 I don’t see either faction as bad guys, Tyrannda has gone off the rails, but the alliance as a whole not at all. They’re working with the horde. I still say the Lich Queen will be Tyrannda as blizzard is keeping the focus on Anduin as we don’t know what she’s up too.
@@MrLuca12121 although you have some merit to what you’re saying for the final raid perhaps. Speculation is the jailer isn’t the final raid or boss, maybe Tyrannda in SW and it’s up to us, Jaina and Anduin to stop her.

This might sound silly, but before chapter 3 begins, and the 4 leaders meet in Oribos, I noticed Draka is not there but their banner is. Don't we go to Maldraxxus first and find all the runes to open up the seat of the primus? Wouldn't she be representing the Maldraxxi in these meetings then? I could have sworn she was present in them, but I didn't play for a few weeks and just logged back in to find my character skipped a bunch of content and is now at the most recent patches quests, so could be misremembering. She is there to ask what the jailer is after to which they tell her the sigils, but I thought she was there for the earlier meetings too. 11:00
I feel so sorry for Jaina and Sylvanas, kinda falling for them both, they both gone through a lot but something tells me that Syl is walking in to a trap if she putting her guards down like that. where to find the next video please ?
Just seeing Blizzard try to make Sylvanas Arthas 2.0 gives me cringe. Left after 8.1 and doesn't seem like I will be coming back anytime soon, maybe when the Raid to kill Sylvanas is out.

He grabbed the crystal that created the mournblade that the lich king had and building it within anduins blade so he can have the power that the original blade had before

It seems pretty obvious that it wasn't. His soul was cleaved when he was killed, with part of his soul going to Bastion, and the other being stuck in the blade. This meant that he had no knowledge what so ever in regards to Arthas, and believed he was truly a monster. But the part of Uther who was in the blade spent all that time with Arthas and understood what caused Arthas to behave like that. Which is why the Uther that was trapped in the blade, did not hate Arthas or seek vengeance against him.
@@jovee6155 I think they are saying this due to the original image of the lichking being a figure who claims souls of the fallen and grew in strength with every death on both sides of conflicts with their armies. Now the sword is unconfirmed to claim souls any more due to the rumor that it only takes half of the soul slain with it. Instead the lichking has been made a puppet of the jailer all along and instead of a unstoppable champion who embodies death and seeks to drown azeroth in undeath and shadow with the ice touch of death itself. You now have the scourge who was its own faction that was a worldly threat even after the defeat of the lichking and now it turns out it was a lie and they were not needed and we could have wiped out the scourge.
sylvanas has a point. we had no choice to be borne into this world and endure the suffering it has. then we will be judged for living a life we didn't even had the choice to begin with. I side with sylvanus.
Anduin turned out to be a Death Knight too ? So much for the shining symbols of hope for the Alliance. First Arthas, now Anduin, they became dark side bitches, just like Han Solo's son. But the damned bad guys do not turn good, what a load of.......
By any shred of logic the Horde and Alliance would have stopped fighting each other long ago. But wankers want both sides to be locked in an eternal conflict. Which is hella boring after a while.

i knew when Slyvanas raised that blade she reminded me of Arthas! she is only Arthas 2.0 at this point..... She committed mass genocide with the burning of Teldrasill like how Arthas with the Blood Elves and Silvermoon. She raised the dead to summit to her will just like Arthas. And just like Arthas did to her, Slyvanas binded Anduin's soul to the jailer's will
Tbf though those old gods etc did send her visions. Arthas def got that a bit too w Frostmourne in RoC, but I do feel Sylvanas didn’t welcome it in so easily as he did.
Idk it’s hard for me not to Stan her, hers was my favorite arc in RoC-> FT.

Through most part of the cutscenes with windrunner and anduin it kinda seems that there is some sort of ship going on here since sylvanas was doing what she could to persuade him. Yes i know that it was cause of what he figured out but im just pointing something out

@@ausmac5287 You have to be dead and risen to be a Death Knight. And Anduin is simply being controlled by domination magic. Death Knights still have free will, and were dead. Anduin has no free will, currently, and is alive.
Arthas wasn't dead when he became a Death Knight in warcraft 3. Also Arthas was under some sort of corruption from the Litch King at the time as well, especially the Death Knights from the original starting zone.

I really hope they show Arthas in some way, helping us or whatever, his story for me was finished but since they showed that he’s in the maw, it’s clearly not and would be wasted potential.
Arthas is the main protagonist going back to WC3... his story wont be over until he wins. They already set him up since WC3 to be the savior of the Humans and King of Lordaeron / Head of the Alliance.
I really hope they do something with him helping us at least

Arthas was naive and was manipulated but once he touched that blade, he was the first victim of Frostmourne. Arthas story is one of tragedy but he deserves to have peace.

Nah its too early for that. I think she will do what the Lich King did and then they can go 2 ways, either make her succumb fully to evil or have nightmares because she did exactly what was done to her and have her redemption ark where she helps stopping the Jailer.

@@GrrantProperr Well Garosh lost to magic as well in his 1v1 duel. As for the story it would be cool if Sylvanas speaks to Arthas. Both of them are/were villians connected to the Jailor and it would be cool if she forgives him and lifts the weight from her heart this way and then team up with him. As for the people that hate her on Azeroth, well it will create a conflict between people that want to kill her and those that not necessarily want to protect her, but want her to live so she can redeem herself (see Anduin cuz he is peaceful and maybe Jaina because she learned to forgive in the past to ppl).
Option #1 sounds familiar, i know the whole arthas-uther plot was like star wars III (and i know the game came before the movie) but doing this again (kylo ren-han solo plot) it's just cliche

I like how they're actively trying to change pre established lore and make Arthas out to be this super huge monster who was always going to turn into basically azeroth hitler and Fostmourne and the helm/jailer had ZERO influence over him, all that he did was purely his decision making and it was all to revel in being an evil guy....jesus christ the writing has become terrible....

I played wow because of good lore... but for this, they do not derserve a cent from my wallet. I tried to return for classic, but its plagued with boosting and all that crap so nope. This might sound silly, but before chapter 3 begins, and the 4 leaders meet in Oribos, I noticed Draka is not there but their banner is. Don't we go to Maldraxxus first and find all the runes to open up the seat of the primus? Wouldn't she be representing the Maldraxxi in these meetings then? I could have sworn she was present in them, but I didn't play for a few weeks and just logged back in to find my character skipped a bunch of content and is now at the most recent patches quests, so could be misremembering. She is there to ask what the jailer is after to which they tell her the sigils, but I thought she was there for the earlier meetings too. 11:00
I feel so sorry for Jaina and Sylvanas, kinda falling for them both, they both gone through a lot but something tells me that Syl is walking in to a trap if she putting her guards down like that.

I'm still confused whether or not the Uther who tossed Arthas into the Maw was the Same Uther we saw Wrath of the Lich King
It seems pretty obvious that it wasn't. His soul was cleaved when he was killed, with part of his soul going to Bastion, and the other being stuck in the blade. This meant that he had no knowledge what so ever in regards to Arthas, and believed he was truly a monster. But the part of Uther who was in the blade spent all that time with Arthas and understood what caused Arthas to behave like that. Which is why the Uther that was trapped in the blade, did not hate Arthas or seek vengeance against him.

@@jovee6155 I think they are saying this due to the original image of the lichking being a figure who claims souls of the fallen and grew in strength with every death on both sides of conflicts with their armies. Now the sword is unconfirmed to claim souls any more due to the rumor that it only takes half of the soul slain with it.
Instead the lichking has been made a puppet of the jailer all along and instead of a unstoppable champion who embodies death and seeks to drown azeroth in undeath and shadow with the ice touch of death itself. You now have the scourge who was its own faction that was a worldly threat even after the defeat of the lichking and now it turns out it was a lie and they were not needed and we could have wiped out the scourge.

she overcame the pain and tried to save everyone. everyone rejected her.
