There is a great back-catalogue, and a recent album with a few new videos. My favourites change with my mood - right now I'm at "Manners" for a groovy feel, "Moratorium" live for a bit more show, and "Daydreaming" for a solid rock ballad. There is even more adventurous, progressive stuff, but I'll wait until my mood changes again.

Band-Maid is a great band with a variety of music...and the fans have already showed up. Everyone is pretty chill and will give you all the information in regards to song choices and Band-Maid's history. We highly recommend earphones. Headsets, you need headsets to appreciate their musicianship. Kanami (lead guitar, genius composer) is in your right ear, and she may be shredding the whole song if you don't listen carefully. Miku (Founder, aka Flappy Pigeon, Backing vocals, Rhythm guitar, main lyricist) is left ear. Akane (drums, aka Gorilla) and Misa (Bass, barefoot Assassin) are the best rhythm section out there, are mainly in your center channel. Saiki (lead vocals, last say in everything Band Maid) is upfront. Together, they make-up the best HR band on the planet. Best Hard Rock Band out there, seriously. More than 100 song in eight years, outstanding songwriting and musicianship. MVs are really good but worths watch´em live. Check Domination live video in their official YT channel, it´s a good place to start. Live is where they really make the difference.

BAND-MAID aren't new. They've been around since 2014. This song is actually from their 8th album, which came out in January earlier this year. If you want to hear more from that album, check out "Warning!" or "Manners". For some other or older stuff, check out "Different", "Daydreaming", "Domination", "Freedom", etc. So many to choose from. They don't have a single bad song at all. These girls are pure talent. The members are: Saiki Atsumi: Lead vocalist Miku Kobato: Rhythm guitarist, back-up vocalist, band leader, main lyricist. As a side note, she's the one that formed the group and the maid outfit motif is based around maid cafes in Japan where she used to work. She though that the juxtaposition between maid outfits and rock music would be an interesting way to get attention and stardom in a rock band and thus, here they are today. The backstory for this video is that Miku (rhythm guitar, backup vocals and band founder) used to work in a maid cafe which is where she came up with the idea for the band. She wanted to use the maid uniforms to highlight what she calls "the gap" or the difference between the maid cafe culture and kick-ass hard rock. All of the band members are immensely talented and write their own music and lyrics. I haven't heard a bad song from them yet! As for another to react to, I'm a huge fan of Freedom (live) which they have said is their favorite to perform, but Warning! or Domination (live) are great as well. Band-Maid is hard rock, unlike Babymetal which of course is metal. You'll need to hear 4 or 5 of their songs before you'll have a grip on this band, as they're not afraid to change it up or mix up genres. Also, you have not heard Band-Maid until you've heard them live. They are fantastic. I know lots of recommendations have already been made so I'll let you sift through those rather than add to your confusion. My point is though - don't stop at this one. They have a certain magic about them.
There are so many great tracks..... They write their own songs, and live are in a different league. They usually feature solos, and It takes a few listens to absorb what's going on with the different ladies. The drummer Akane and Bassist Misa are awesome. The other ladies are also up there and every it equal. My fav band, and I do not like rock, but these girls got me!

I think Baby-metal is a very well-produced show rather than a band. The "Kami Band" playing in the back supports girls who sing and dance with the best playing ability. Band-Maid is a complete hard rock band with sophisticated technique, composition and singing ability.

Like most Band-Maid songs, I like them from the get-go but really start to appreciate them after more hearings and seeing their LIVE videos. Thank you for Reaction BAND MAID. BAND MAID is a 5-member girls rock band. They are hard rock band and are now considered by fans to be one of the best hard rock bands in the world. They usually perform 23 songs and 2 hours live. They were formed in Japan in 2013 by side guitarist Miku Kobato. Kobato had experience working at a maid cafe in Akihabara Tokyo and had the idea of playing cool songs with a maid costume. That's why the band was named Band-Maid. "Thrill" was their first music video in 2014, played 2 million times in two weeks and saved them from breaking up. At that time they were just around 19-22 years old. And then they have been doing LIVE overseas and increasing their fans. Now they are writing, composing and arranging all the songs. 35 songs have been released on their official TH-cam, all of which are killer songs.

No worries, that happens a lot coming off Babymetal. I'd suggest checking out one of their live shows to see just how really good they are. Domination is typical but Freedom, Play, and Choose me are good too. Onset is their show off Instrumental piece and blows away many bands.

There is a great back-catalogue, and a recent album with a few new videos. My favourites change with my mood - right now I'm at "Manners" for a groovy feel, "Moratorium" live for a bit more show, and "Daydreaming" for a solid rock ballad. There is even more adventurous, progressive stuff, but I'll wait until my mood changes again.

Band-Maid is a great band with a variety of music...and the fans have already showed up. Everyone is pretty chill and will give you all the information in regards to song choices and Band-Maid's history.
We highly recommend earphones. They're one of those bands where everyone stands out in the music and gets to shine equally. There's also a lot of cool details in their music composition.

Headsets, you need headsets to appreciate their musicianship. Kanami (lead guitar, genius composer) is in your right ear, and she may be shredding the whole song if you don't listen carefully. Miku (Founder, aka Flappy Pigeon, Backing vocals, Rhythm guitar, main lyricist) is left ear. Akane (drums, aka Gorilla) and Misa (Bass, barefoot Assassin) are the best rhythm section out there, are mainly in your center channel. Saiki (lead vocals, last say in everything Band Maid) is upfront. Together, they make-up the best HR band on the planet. Best Hard Rock Band out there, seriously. More than 100 song in eight years, outstanding songwriting and musicianship. MVs are really good but worths watch´em live. Check Domination live video in their official YT channel, it´s a good place to start. Live is where they really make the difference.

BAND-MAID aren't new. They've been around since 2014. This song is actually from their 8th album, which came out in January earlier this year. If you want to hear more from that album, check out "Warning!" or "Manners". For some other or older stuff, check out "Different", "Daydreaming", "Domination", "Freedom", etc. So many to choose from. They don't have a single bad song at all. These girls are pure talent. The members are:

The backstory for this video is that Miku (rhythm guitar, backup vocals and band founder) used to work in a maid cafe which is where she came up with the idea for the band. She wanted to use the maid uniforms to highlight what she calls "the gap" or the difference between the maid cafe culture and kick-ass hard rock. All of the band members are immensely talented and write their own music and lyrics. I haven't heard a bad song from them yet! As for another to react to, I'm a huge fan of Freedom (live) which they have said is their favorite to perform, but Warning! or Domination (live) are great as well. If you enjoy anime, you should try Different, which is the new intro song for Log Horizon (season 3). Thanks for a fun reaction video!
Band-Maid is hard rock, unlike Babymetal which of course is metal. You'll need to hear 4 or 5 of their songs before you'll have a grip on this band, as they're not afraid to change it up or mix up genres. Also, you have not heard Band-Maid until you've heard them live. They are fantastic. I know lots of recommendations have already been made so I'll let you sift through those rather than add to your confusion. My point is though - don't stop at this one. They have a certain magic about them.

There are so many great tracks..... They write their own songs, and live are in a different league.
They usually feature solos, and It takes a few listens to absorb what's going on with the different ladies. The drummer Akane and Bassist Misa are awesome. The other ladies are also up there and every it equal. My fav band, and I do not like rock, but these girls got me!

After life while an amazing song doesn't really showcase these amazingly talented Ladies. Offset would definitely showcase the instramentals, a song like daydreaming super kicks you right in the feels. You are going on a wild ride with Bandmaid especially with Miku with her pigeon persona.
