This video cut off the church organ intro so you didn't get the sense of anticipation, maybe because you didn't let it flow .... Yui and Moa were hyping everybody in the middle. Coincidence you said not to fall. The night before, when Yui and Moa were running round the stage and hyping the crowd, Yui fell off the stage and disappeared. Su and Moa continued and finished the song without her. Yui was back on stage, happy and smiling, for the next song (IDZ, the last song of the night). Moa slipped and fell at the start of that one and twisted her knee - she carried on to the end and did all the choreo including a mock fight with Yui, but she was nearly in tears throughout. Try the Legend 1997 performance - abr metal has a high quality version you can use safely. Then there are the special versions they have performed on special birthdays. 'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first concert on her 15th birthday, but it is also a sort of coming of age thing. 15 is when compulsory education ends in Japan, so she is taking that first big life decision - further education, start a career, something else perhaps. She is realising that she will never be considered a child again, those first 15 years passed by so quickly and life will never be the same, so she is etching this special night of her 15th into her heart so she will never forget. It is not biographical - they recorded this song when Su was still only 14, but I'm sure she could relate. At shows on or near their own 15th birthdays in 2014 Yui (in Paris) and Moa (in Cologne/Koln) were each handed the mic and stand ceremoniously by Su half way through the song and they each took over the lead vocals for the second half (only fancam videos exist for both those shows). The same thing happened at the Legend M show in 2019 for Moa's 20th birthday (the real coming of age to becoming an adult in Japan) and again at Legend MM in March earlier this year the night before Momometal's 21st she took the lead and "showed her fangs"..

If you want to see crowd hype this may be the version you're looking for. And of course "Momobanger" is just a delight. You mentioned the costumes and I agree. These are not my favorites. But a little FYI: for you. Babymetal started out with a lot of red in their outfits. You see red it's a cue that this is an older performance. As time went on they moved towards the classic black and silver metal princess look. My personal fav. There have been s couple of short lived iterations are the gold iridescent and now-and I'm not sure how to even describe these. But the current costumes which to my eye have an almost sci-fi fantasy feel.

As many have already said, for a first reaction, Legend 1997 is the best version, then react to Legend M and Legend MM and Legend 1997 - Night of 15 Remix. But IMO, Legend Metal Galaxy is the shizz, but will get blocked heavily, so that is definitely a watch on your own version.
BabyMetal has many beautiful outfits and every fan's favorite is different. Someone has analyzed that the biggest difference between this outfit and previous outfits is that Su-metal’s outfits are designed with left and right asymmetry. This is a more mature style. Maybe because Su-metal was already 16 years old at that time. So the fashion designer designed an asymmetrical outfit for Su-metal, but the outfits of Yuimetal and Moametal are still symmetrical. Hi there. Headbanger is one of their song with 4 different versions. This is the original, but the Legend 1997 is the best with Su on Vocals. There is one with Yui on vocals, but I don't know which show is it in. There is a Moa version from Legend M and there is a Momo version from Legend MM .They do it on each respective 16 and 20th birthday.
nah i think this was their Best Costume,When people think of BABYMETAL this is the costume that people think Su Costume particularly is More beautiful then the Moa and Yui Costume, The Newer Costume also look good now that they are a little bit older, and this was their best performance of this song now the audio of newer performance is a little bit Better because they add the crowd chanting in some part and the quality of the instrument is a bit more refined.

So nice to see another BM reaction by Agnes-metal! regarding their stage costumes, this is right at the end of the era when they were borrowing clothes from friends/family/each other to try to match on stage. They didn't have a consistent band before this concert (I think this is the first one where the Kami Band was permanently part of BM). All this is brand new for them, they haven't taken over the world yet.
That's not really accurate. This footage is from Budokan Black Night on March 2nd 2014. The BABYMETAL members had unique costumes for LEGEND I, D and Z, going back to 2012.

Background and release:-
Unlike previous tracks released by the band, which had her vocal recorded in segments within the songs, Nakamoto had her lines recorded in a single take several times. She had been told to sing and find a story within the music. By the time she had comprehended the story behind the lyrics, she grew capable of singing the entire song naturally. When Mizuno and Kikuchi listened to her shouting "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" for the first time, they felt as if they had seen another cool side of her, surprised by the vocal power. Additionally, the single introduced the members to the whispering style of singing, with the A-side's "Kiero!" (Disappear!) and the B-side's "Uki Uki Midnight". Kobametal was inspired to use it to contrast traditional death growls.
"Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" was announced as a single on April 27, 2012, with a release date set for July 7, 2012. The single was released in two versions: a standard edition, available via CD and digital formats, and a physical limited Hedo-ban ("Head edition"), which contains a CD and a "neck corset" (actually a cervical collar) for headbanging training.[5] Both editions of the single feature the songs "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" and "Uki Uki ★ Midnight" (ウ・キ・ウ・キ★ミッドナイト, "Exhilarating Midnight"), along with instrumental versions (labeled as "Air Vocal ver."). The standard version contains an enhanced CD with a bonus music video of "Babymetal Death", which can only be played on a computer. The former took place on Suzuka Nakamoto's actual fifteenth birthday, while the latter was the opening song for the concert. Remixed by DJ'Tekina//Something, the song was later released as part of Social Reform promotional editions of the single "Ijime, Dame, Zettai", and later appeared on DJ'Tekina//Something's remix album Kawa-EDM (2016), re-subtitled as "Tekina Remix".

As said legend 97 Su’s birthday is the best, there is also versions of this song for Yui and Moa’s birthday called Yuibanger and Moabanger as well Momobanger
As many have already said, for a first reaction, Legend 1997 is the best version, then react to Legend M and Legend MM and Legend 1997 - Night of 15 Remix.
But IMO, Legend Metal Galaxy is the shizz, but will get blocked heavily, so that is definitely a watch on your own version.

BabyMetal has many beautiful outfits and every fan's favorite is different.
Someone has analyzed that the biggest difference between this outfit and previous outfits is that Su-metal’s outfits are designed with left and right asymmetry. This is a more mature style.
Maybe because Su-metal was already 16 years old at that time. So the fashion designer designed an asymmetrical outfit for Su-metal, but the outfits of Yuimetal and Moametal are still symmetrical.
This arrangement highlights lead singer Su-metal while Yuimetal and Moametal retain the kawaii style.

Hi there. Headbanger is one of their song with 4 different versions. This is the original, but the Legend 1997 is the best with Su on Vocals. There is one with Yui on vocals, but I don't know which show is it in. There is a Moa version from Legend M and there is a Momo version from Legend MM .They do it on each respective 16 and 20th birthday.
nah i think this was their Best Costume,When people think of BABYMETAL this is the costume that people think Su Costume particularly is More beautiful then the Moa and Yui Costume, The Newer Costume also look good now that they are a little bit older, and this was their best performance of this song now the audio of newer performance is a little bit Better because they add the crowd chanting in some part and the quality of the instrument is a bit more refined.

Looks like we forgot to tell you to pick the “Legend 1997” (takes place in 2013)version of this song, you can see and get the hype with that version, this is one of the worst versions to “react” to, hope you can watch that version and many others that this song has, believe me you’ll love and enjoy more the “Legend 1997” version ❤

regarding their stage costumes, this is right at the end of the era when they were borrowing clothes from friends/family/each other to try to match on stage. They didn't have a consistent band before this concert (I think this is the first one where the Kami Band was permanently part of BM). All this is brand new for them, they haven't taken over the world yet.
