cool vid, looks like a lot of fun but as far as a 257 rear dump truck nah, no such thing.... 257 is a cat skid steer loader.... that truck is pure fantasy... tis the size of maybe a 777 cat, but has the look of a much larger cat say a 793 or 797 but way too small to be either of those....
As usual another quality video. I have one question, why does this Pete not have a steering wheel? I have the Viper Peterbilt and also the one by TAM. When I switch from the TAM version back to Viper's I lose the steering wheel but I can go to the accessories and add the wheel. Just wondered.
Wow, I didn't even realize it was missing! Ha. The steering wheels started missing when I got the Steering Creations Pack DLC. Once you go buy a new wheel it shouldn't disappear again.
I am guessing the game is showing the example of a low bed getting high centered over uneven terrain. Have you tried a tractor with the highest ground clearance ? Do the tractors and trailers have functional air bag suspensions ?
Yep it was definitely high centered. I have a bunch of videos with larger tires, which lift the truck. Unfortunately no, you can't raise or lower the truck or trailer with the air bags. This trailer is a mod, the SCS default trailers have plenty of clearance.
booboss Actually it’s the law to put on hazard lights when you’re carrying an oversized load. If it weren’t then how would a car driver identify such a monstrosity in low light/sight distance scenarios? How do I know? I spent time in a car driving class (about a year ago when I was 16) and they mentioned that bit when we got to respecting large vehicles. To say the least you’re not going to get a much better opinion from anybody else except for those in the truck driving business, because morons don’t remember those things after driving class and getting their driver’s license.
