- Ronald "Ronnie G" Giallanzo is a made member of the Bonanno Crime Family from Howard Beach Queens. He came up under his uncle, longtime Bonanno Family member Vincent Asaro. He in the 2000's rose to become a huge earner and leader of a violent crew. In the end, he was very greedy and built a huge home in Queens that angered the FEDS.

I was one of the first Guyanese kids to go to school in Howard Beach matter of fact I was the only minority that went to school and Howard Beach at that time in the 80s and never had any racist altercations

I lived in Howard Beach for 40 years. I met Ronnie G I hung out with Mike Palmaccio and Mike Padavona live across the street from me on 85th St. down the block from John Gotti house. Michael Griffith decided to go to New Park Pizza it was like 12 o’clock at night. Something happened he got chased and ran along side the Belt Parkway and the dummy instead of running straight decided to cross over three lanes Charles Hynes the DA gave those three teens 15 years minimum in prison he made an example of them for it being a racial crime.

Are any of the neighbourhoods that were 'mobbed up' through to the 2000s still the same? Predominantly Italian? I often find myself looking through Google maps, searching up the old neighbourhoods and streets, Bath Ave, Bay Beach, Bensonhurst, Howard Beach, Jamaica Ave etc just to get an idea of the layout. Is it weird I do that? 😂

I've always thought that "I'm half Italian and Jewish" comment that got attributed to Giallanzo was actually said by Kessler and they just screwed it up. Giallanzo is obviously an Italian name and he's Italian on his mother's side (Asaro). Kessler is a very common Jewish last name
