  • With the European elections just two months away, a recent poll for French media has put the far-right National Rally party firmly in the lead, averaging around 32 percent of support. Other polls across the continent also show a trend of voters leaning towards right-wing, nationalist or Eurosceptic parties. France 24’s Philip Turle takes a look at some of the reasons support for the far right is surging.

@@maxrichter1984fascism was entirely predicated on socialism. Read their doctrines. Musselini was originally a marxist. The commie word play is done. Those who dont know that never once looked.

@@maxrichter1984 like i said. Its writen into their political platform and was central. Your response is ironic. The national socialists regarded capitalism as an enemy and meant to undo it. They immediately took over all commerce and industry accordingly.
I know all philosophies and history. I’ve been reading it daily for 20 years. Its adorable that you think your beliefs are real.
They also arent your ideas. And there is in fact a reason for that. I know it. You do not. There is no refutation

@@azurebadger the cognitive dissonance is fascinating to me on that. Absolutely nothing about the Third Reich for example was right wing apart from their blood and soil nationalist branding. Almost all of their policies and actions were out of the textbook hard leftist.

When life becomes more expensive, people fear for their standard of living and start to vote right wing parties. People don't want to share when there is not enough to go round. EU leaders spending on proxy wars, sanctions and military do not improve the daily live of citizens. Extreme right parties blame immigrants and while it makes sense to limit the amount of immigration, we lack workers to improve our suffering economies. It is EU leaders who applied destructive policies that spiral down our economies. They should be voted out of office.
