I'm from PEI, you are right it's on the east coast and so worth the trip. We're an island full of beautiful beaches, amazing seafood and the best people. You will not regret coming here some summer.
Would you consider do a “best books to read in the summer” video? I love to read book around the same time of year that they’re set in. This would be soo helpful! 🙂
Also, as far as your comments about the orchid plant....maybe I can help. I have quite a few plants and an orchid that I've had for 3 years now. Orchids like minimal water so a light drizzle every other week is good. They like indirect sunlight. After it's had it's blooming season and the flower petals fall off, it's not dead! You just trim the stem down to right before the second to last node and wait for it's new growth to begin. They are a little tricky and hard for beginners but I hope those tips help
As long as it's just the flower petals. If it's the green larger petals at the bottom, it may need something different like more water or different soil depending on what you have it in. Typically the flower petals bloom for a couple of months during the summer and then they fall off. You trim, wait a while haha and start again the cycle
I wanna read Powerless so bad but I’m waiting a little bit because Wreckless comes out in July and I don’t wanna wait with the cliff hanger 🤣 Also you inspired me to finally pick up the nightingale and I can’t thank you enough! Found my favorite book of all time ❤️
My favourite book of the month was definitely For a Lifetime by Gabrielle Meyer. It’s the third book in a historical Christian romance series with a bit of time travel in each one and I loved it. It’s my new favourite book and one of our main love interests was French and I was OBSESSED!
My 5 stars are Interview with the vampire by Anne rice A very private school by Charles Spencer memoir it was heartbreaking learning what Charles went through in his childhood and yes he's the brother of the late princess diana City of fire by don Winslow this book is really great if you're thinking about reading crime thrillers then this is a must it's book 1 in a trilogy

Hey, Delaney! Newer subscriber here (last 3 months or so) I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your thoughts on books. ❤ I'm definitely sticking around 😉
Ive been listening to Tom Lake by Ann Patchett which is read by Meryl Streep and I think you would like this book!! A women's fiction story of a mom talking to her kids whilst living on a cherry farm. I laughed many time and highly recommend the audiobook
new subscriber here! i think we have similar taste in books. i was wondering if you could do mystery/thriller book recommendations video in the future?
New subscriber - great recs! Also, I just finished Love Letter to Whiskey last night and I loved it so much! As for the toxicity, it kind of game me BJ and Magnolia vibes which I also loved!
So it didn’t bother you that Powerless was a copy & paste of Hunger Games & Red Queen? It was so cringy and the banter was so juvenile. And I read a lot of YA and this just was not good, but I understand everyone wants to hype up a young booktok author
I do agree with the toxicity of "A Love Letter to Whiskey". HOWEVER, i loved this book so much, and I think their love was so real and raw.
yes!!!! I loved them!!!

@@delaneylynnesmith Wow, I totally butchered my initial questions grammar. Multitasking with a toddler will do that to ya! 😅 Yay, I can’t wait! 🥰
@@mollyuden I knew what you were asking!!! 💓💗
I absolutely love your videos! You're such an inspiration for a small booktuber, like myself!

Oh my gosh you are the best!!!! So if my petals are crispy and falling off, I don’t worry it’s dead? Just trim & let it be? ❤

💜💜💜
Happiness for Beginners was made into a movie on Netflix or Amazon. It wasn’t bad but it didn’t make me want to read the book.
My only real five star this month was The Devil Wears Scrubs by Freida McFadden

Yay! So glad you’re here. 💕 I have one up & lots on my TikTok too!!
How can I join the bookclub? Is it on Fable? 😘💖
No, it’s a personal book club!!! Would love to make one for this community if people would be interested though!
@@delaneylynnesmith Would definitely be something cool if you do decide to make one!
I would love a book club here too.

LOVE BJ & magnolia 🥹 maybe toxic romances are my thing 🤣
I love this video and I’m so so glad you read the first two books for powerless, and that you liked them makes me so happy.

I enjoyed the book. It’s okay to disagree & neither of us have to be wrong. We can just disagree!
Nah just say you were triggered by the jokes... some people cope through dark humor there's nothing wrong with that.
Books without smut? How boring.
You read 1 book every 2 days? You must not have anything else to do??
I have jobs & a home to maintain & a social life! I just don’t watch TV & try to not scroll social media at night & read instead.
