I'd like to think that I've found pretty good settings for playing in POV. The problem you're having where it feels like you're too close to the rail or ledge when youre actually too far away can be fixed with lens distortion. I have lens distortion set to 68 and the scale up to 1.17. I play with a 140° FOV, near clipping at 0.05, responsiveness at .65 for position and .10 for rotation. Your position responsiveness is so low that your character's head keeps moving in front of the camera, and near clipping is just there to redundantly make sure that even if the head move in front of the camera it won't be rendered. I have the camera at 0.0 for x, 0.03 for y, and 0.17 for z. That's as close to eye level as I can get the camera, and as close as Ive been able to get to the front of the face model without seeing it.
When Garrett replayed him falling off the 18 Stair I also felt that. I’ve fallen multiple times and when you try and walk it off you limp and jump even though you never even hurt your legs.

If you're looking for settings that will get rid of a lot of the visual glitches on POV, try these. Fov: 120 (I find 120 lets me still see the board enough while not looking too warped, 105 is also good for people who want less distortion) Hide head unticked (I think this switch is inverted from what it should be, off seems to be on) Near Clipping: 0.03 Responsiveness Position: 1.0 (anything other than 1 usually just looks worse and has more clipping Rotation: 0.7 to 1.0 (I think higher looks better for this, but play around) Move Camera (Centers the camera right in front of the nose) x: -0.018 y: -0.06 z: 0.1
Play the full fully flaired video in the background honestly one of the best skate videos of all time a lot of tricks in that video we’re ahead of its time
You need to put the camera in the skaters face to get the location and height right then bring the camera out enough so it doesn't clip into the character

I think you might learn the 270 kickflip noseblunt, because you can backside 360 kickflip very consistently, you might start trying very slow on a curb just to figure out how to lock in and see how it goes. #CoachFrankMoment
I’ve never bought a game on release before, but I needed this. I’m a PS4 player. I’m so disappointed we can’t access these maps. And there’s hardly anything on there when it comes to boards. The most annoying thing is the screen tearing and flashing details in the background. I know it’s not just me, because I watched a video of Mike Mo playing and the same thing is happening to him. Doesn’t happen with other games either. I’m so annoyed, it’s the game I’ve been waiting for since I bought a PlayStation.
