    I have a domain under one workspace account, and another domain under another workspace account. I want to do what you have set up but it wont let be get past the part you are showing at 4:23 in this video. It says the domain is owned by someone else. But thats me! lol I can't figure out how to fix this. Can you help?

      Hi Ryan. if the domain is already part or is added in another Google Workspace account, then you will need to remove it from that account before you can add it to another Google Workspace account.
      If the domain name is the primary domain name of the Google Workspace account, you may need to contact Google support and explain what you want to do.
      Hope it can help you!. Thank you.

      @@itwithcarlos Thanks. If I was able to merge the second domain, is there a way to keep separate a starter workspace users kept on one domain, and keep another bunch of users on a business standard account with a different domain, but keep everyone under one google workspace?

    • @itwithcarlos
      @itwithcarlos  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@user-yz9bu6rx7b You can have different users, each one with a different domain, but the ability to assign a different type of license (starter or Std) will depend on what you negotiated with Google. Small businesses (less that 50 users) Google try or push them to have everyone with the same type of license. If you have more users, you can negotiate with Google and ask a mix of licenses depending of your needs, then you can assign the different type of licenses to every user. Thanks

    Thanks for the video, question, do you still have to create an email with the second domain and pay for a second user license? or Could you create a second email with the second domain without having to pay for a second user since my business is just me?

    • @itwithcarlos
      @itwithcarlos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Yoleidy, if the second email is an alias of your mailbox, then you don't need to pay for a second license. But, if you create another mailbox, then you will need another license. I would say that you can know if you need pay for another license when you need a mailbox. If you are just adding emails address (just aliases and not mailboxes), then you don't need to pay for more licenses. Hope it helps, thanks.

    Hi Carlos! Thank you for this very informative video. We're planning to add a secondary domain to our workspace but I have questions and I can't find resources so I'm not sure if you can answer. The questions are:
    - I would also need to be added to the secondary domain, would I have a new gmail inbox for that or would that just forward to the same inbox as the primary?
    -Would the billing show a different invoice for the secondary domain or no?
    -If the billing just shows the number of users and I am added on the secondary domain, would that mean I pay double for my self?
    I hope you can enlighten me. :)

    • @itwithcarlos
      @itwithcarlos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi June, thank you for your comment. When you just add a new domain name you don't have any extra cost. You will only be charge for the number of users (licenses) that you have. When you have an additional domain, you will be able to create users under the new domain name (in this case you will be charge for any new user). You will also be able to create new email address (aliases) for existing users (in this case there is not extra costs). Hope this respond to your questions. Please let me know. Thanks.

Is there a way to delete a 2nd Google Workspace (setup by mistake) with the 2nd domain (new company domain name) and add this 2nd domain to the original Google Workspace containing the 1st domain name? Eventually, I want to forward emails from the original domain to the new company domain email address. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    • @itwithcarlos

      Hi Bobbiette, it is possible, however, you will need to contact Google Support and ask for the removal of your domain from the 2nd Workspace account. Google will probably ask you for some ownership verification. Once, it is removed from the 2nd Google Workspace account, you will be able to add/verify it within your original account and manage email forwarding.
