I just graduated from highschool with a terrible g.p.a because I was good at my lessons without actually studying in middleschool but when you go to highschool you have to study and more importantly you have to known how to study. I wish I was smart like you at the time, you dont have to study a lot just study an hour maybe even little but do it every day and believe me you will be succesful.

IM MY BIGGEST CHEERLEADER. I was born in 2009. I loved this video so much and one main takeaway I got from this was that valedictorian isn't the goal. Self maximisation is the goal. Being able to push yourself through life and be independent because other people don't care enough about you to push you so you have to be the best version of yourself by setting up your life around your passion and ambition. (Side note: my school doesn't even give valedictorian based on grades lol)
I was born in 2009 too! I have recently been really trying to change my mindset and the way i revise over the past couple of months and i can see it working, however my friends have recently gotten me into playing lots of volleyball so that is even more time taken up in my week.😭 but i totally agree with you that you have to care and nurture for yourself, as no one else can or will put as much time into your future as you will.

I was also accidentally valedictorian. Turns out doing two or three hours of homework a day (and a couple hours on the weekend) was enough to get there. I didn't go to a very competitive high school.

math is not hard you just need to believe in yourself and try to enjoy it. I hated math my whole life but in my last year of highschool I studied a lot of math because that was my worst lesson. I loved it when I could actually solve it, I study english now and like it but in the corner of my mind I feel like I should have chosed math earlier.

I was born in 2009 and just started Freshman year (I'm not a native English speaker btw so sorry for the mistakes), the problem with me (plus the fact that maybe I´m in the neurodivergent spectrum) is that I want to study art, so most of the time I don´t really see the use in some subjects so I got lazy but then cry on a bad grade, and when I'm fully invested in the homework I just lost the idea of time and boom! two hours in a 30 minute homework, but I´m getting better so I´m gonna keep trying!

Had a really rough q1 freshman year and I've been coming to the realization that I am not the best anymore even though I have been for my whole school life, because now I have to budget my time between math, cs, choir and school. I've been using this as an excuse but after seeing how you do it.. There isn't an excuse for scraping an A. There isn't an excuse to wreck my mental health. I can do anything I just have to budget my time. At this point, my weighted is really high, but I'm concerned that because I'm taking choir it'll go down, but is it worth it to quit choir just for gpa? You showed that, no, you can still take normal classes and do what you love while doing alright in the long run. I probably have commented this before but, do you have any tips for competitions specifically? AMCs are in a month and its honestly really hard to keep up momentum with everything and I'm just really inspiring by how you did so well while managing everything else. This video really helps. I feel like amy is like a more relatable version of a therapist. Im in 7th grade, and i think i need math therapy cuz im getting super bad grades on my tests. Like not just As IM GETTING WORSE. I'm not good at math either, but I'll keep believing in myself. And you should do that too! See it as a nice challenge and go for it!
math is not hard you just need to believe in yourself and try to enjoy it. I hated math my whole life but in my last year of highschool I studied a lot of math because that was my worst lesson. I loved it when I could actually solve it, I study english now and like it but in the corner of my mind I feel like I should have chosed math earlier.

Hi! I was born in 2009 and just started Freshman year (I'm not a native English speaker btw so sorry for the mistakes), the problem with me (plus the fact that maybe I´m in the neurodivergent spectrum) is that I want to study art, so most of the time I don´t really see the use in some subjects so I got lazy but then cry on a bad grade, and when I'm fully invested in the homework I just lost the idea of time and boom! two hours in a 30 minute homework, but I´m getting better so I´m gonna keep trying!

2009 kid here. Had a really rough q1 freshman year and I've been coming to the realization that I am not the best anymore even though I have been for my whole school life, because now I have to budget my time between math, cs, choir and school. I've been using this as an excuse but after seeing how you do it.. There isn't an excuse for scraping an A. There isn't an excuse to wreck my mental health. I can do anything I just have to budget my time. At this point, my weighted is really high, but I'm concerned that because I'm taking choir it'll go down, but is it worth it to quit choir just for gpa? You showed that, no, you can still take normal classes and do what you love while doing alright in the long run.
I probably have commented this before but, do you have any tips for competitions specifically? AMCs are in a month and its honestly really hard to keep up momentum with everything and I'm just really inspiring by how you did so well while managing everything else.

I feel like amy is like a more relatable version of a therapist. Im in 7th grade, and i think i need math therapy cuz im getting super bad grades on my tests. Like not just As IM GETTING WORSE. In my school we have normal 7th grade math, advanced math, and Algebra 1. I am only in 7th grade math. Im struggling even though i try everything. Maybe not everything, because ive heard you say that you cant try EVERYTHING and not get a good grade. Plzzzz make a video on social pressure and how to deal with it. I hate being the last person to turn in my test or quiz. I rushed myself today on my quiz. Im so sure i got a horrible grade. Plz plz make a video on this topic
