This is one of those patterns where I gasped when I saw the picture. I can't wait to make one of these! Having seen these and your key bell flower pattern, I have to say, you create such cute, creative designs! Thank you for sharing them with us.
I'm not sure if my tension is off, or if my yarn is too compact, but I'm having issues with there being gaps between the increases and the previous row. They just don't quite want to fit together like yours.
I don't suppose there is a written version of this pattern anywhere? Maybe I'm just messing up because I'm unused to following videos.

i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong but pattern is too tight when i’m making it that I can’t fit all the puff stitches. any tips?
Hi there, try using a bigger hook size to make this pattern . Also add one chain stitch after making every puff stitch so you’ll have enough space to fit all the puffs. Hope this helps😊

1 half double crochet
Two double crochet
One double crochet
3 chains
First chain a single crochet
Two double crochets
One half double crochet
One single crochet
Would dk yarn be suitable for this?
Yes please. But your puffs might not look very fluffly. So in that case take 3-4 loops (or more as per your choice) to make your puff stitches look a little more thick and fluffy😊
