R.I.P. Chris 🫡 His energy and passion were unmatched. I remember watching videos of other reviewers have breakdowns on their channels when he passed. Big loss to the community, but luckily his videos and what he passed on to me will live on. I still do think of him when I wear this fragrance.
M&T was my first Jo Malone too! I bought it for the occasion of an office Christmas Party. I enjoy wearing it in cold months. I think it is a social scent. I bought Oud & Bergamot in 2021 and that quickly became a favorite. It is more versatile than Myrrh & Tonka, wearing comfortably in all four seasons imo and for all occasions. Like M&T the Oud & Bergamot performs pretty well, lasting 8+ on me and a scent bubble that I'd say is slightly more than intimate. This last year I picked up the Vetiver & Golden Vanilla which runs third out of three for me, but as others have said here, it is nice and may click with you. Cheers.
Really works well as a base for layering. I can see why it was so popular. Super easy to like. Used to combine it with Orange Bitters to create Orange & Tonka, until I eventually ran out of both. 😄 C'est la vie.
Cheers Marc ,not sniffed any from the line bar the only bottle I strangely have in the collection,Incense and Cedar, not sure when and why I got it but it’s here lol ,definitely a layering fragrance ,nice enough like I’m sure Myrre &Tonka is also ✌️🙏👍
I'm very aware of it everytime I wear M&T and it bothers me. I feel its harsh and strong and I can't enjoy it. My wife doesn't like it as well. Tonka Imperial on the other hand is stunning. Great video Mark.
I am really not interested in this brand, I've smelled some, like them but not love them, they have a lot of fragrances and right now my commitment to 2024 is no more redundant fragrances and only get the woow ones 😆 No more Rose Ouds no more Vanillas unless they're really amazing, I'm going to decelerate the fragrance madness this year and focus in other stuff I like, just try to complete the list I made in 2018. Thanks for the Samplin' Marc!!!
Hello Robes08, Can you make a video explain « pourquoi 🇫🇷 » Jean Claude Elena is one of your best perfumer ? It can an unusual video but very instructive.
Greetings! Definitely some good ones to try...most are a bit light as you eluded to but very much appropriate at the right time and/or event. Here are a few I recommend to try...Black Vetyver Cafe, Blue Agava & Cacao, Pomegranate Noir, Wild Fig & Cassis, Wood Sage & Sea Salt, Vetiver & Golden Vanilla, Saffron...just a few that I personally enjoy. Maybe you will too. Be well old friend.

100%, I just got my bottle and it'll remind me of him when wearing it.
You did it with respect and dignity. RIP to Chris, a great reviewer from my hometown.
🙏 I remember him asking me to review this, going through our texts and he really wanted to hear what I thought of his fav. I missed that opportunity.
I really do miss Chris! 😢 He was a great guy. R.I.P. Chris! 😔

Thank you for making the long awaited myrrh and tonka review
Quel hommage au TH-camr, ta sincérité t’honore. Professionnel et humain 🫡.
Great review. I’m a fan of myrrh so thanks for putting this on my radar.
Love your reviews. Always have! Love your honesty and your opinion on the current state of the TH-cam community.
I appreciate that! ✊

Rituals are rituals
M&T is solid. I've been wearing it sporadically for years. Vetiver & Golden Vanilla is also very nice.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like it and have a blessed night

Tonka Imperiale is on another level!
I smelled the gingerbread and it smelled very natural, just like real gingerbread.
I have sampled this and honestly it is the best of the line IMO not sure if its full bottle worthy tho 🤔
Not a real fan of this house but I had to see what you thought about this FRAGRANCE 💯💪💯
