I feel like you very much underestimate int for ret. There's not one fight in BFD that I couldn't use my full mana bar or more. I feel like int on your scale should be close to 1 if not 1. It doesn't just increase your max mana, but also increases the amount you get back from crusader strike. You're able to do way more dmg if you can use exorcism, and seal twisting, which takes a TON of mana. Personally if I had to weigh int it would be .8. Which would make agil comfortably better and str being way better than int.
Other than sergeant's cape and seal of wrynn (and verigan's fist until you get better) what would you have int on? With so much of ret dps coming from melee, crusader strike, seal of command and divine storm, I can't see sacrificing really any str or agi at all to try and squeeze an extra exorcism or judgement in to be +ev. Looking at the top ret logs, they all seem to be on this thinking also.
You removed all your other Bis vids? I really hope you bring them back again, they were my go to quick guides. I especially appreciated the alternative sections that had good quest reward options!

With the set bonus, twilight avenger's is well ahead. Artemis cowl is second best (and about equivalent with no other pieces) but I'd only take it if no leather-wearer needs it as the leather will be much higher competition than the mail and the twilight avenger's is markedly better once you get set bonus.

Ive see a few sources claiming the leather working gloves are BiS for Ret, these epic crafts are unique and cant be used with eachother. The argument seems to be the epic BS chest shifting breastplate upgrade takes a hit in raw stats and the curse is a proc. The LW void touched gloves has an on use for 10% fast attack speed. What are your thoughts on this? I am currently 150 blacksmithing and dont want to drop mining (as it was harder to level). Im about to get my first void shard. Should i drop BS and go the gloves or keep my BS and just get the chest? For reference im more interested in PVP than PVE, using PVE as a means to an end for gear.
The difference is very small and only true when you really get towards absolute full bis - for the gloves to be better you need to have the 3-set hit bonus, since that's what puts gloves+3set over 2-set+chest. For almost all of the phase the chest will be better and for PVP it's much better.

Technically optimal would be to use epic BS chest until you get all three avengers mail set then get another shard and make the gloves (which apparently you can do but I haven't tried) if you're happy to have your professions be exactly LW+BS or to switch. BS chest is better until 3set and with 3set it's actually really close. 2pc+BS chest+algae vs 3pc twilight avenger's plus the gloves ends up being 13str vs 9 agi and a hit. To give an idea, of the top 5 parses currently, there are 4 chests and 0 gloves. I wouldn't be surprised to see that change by the end of the phase though, it will probably be something like for the first 15 BFDs of the phase, chest wins and for the last 5 BFD gloves win. Personally I'd just make the chest and not worry unless you're actually trying to get a 100 parse
The main downside is that you can't wear it with the epic chest which is also very good. If you have 3pc twilight avenger's, then that plus the gloves is pretty even with epic chest + 2pc + algae. It ends up being 13str vs 9 agi and a hit There'll be some breakpoint of dps where 9 agi and a hit is more dps than 13 strength (since str is flat dps increase and agi/hit is %-based) but I dunno where that is, I'd be very happy with either and probably just base it on do you want to have BS or LW as your profession?
For any paladin that needs that belt. I'm 25, decent gear. Can easily solo. Best would probably 2man it with a hunter or rogue that wants leggings of the fang. But definitely soloable. Make sure you have your runes though (mainly divine storm)
Yep sure is but pvp gear should be very similar. The main changes would just be to use Twilight Defender's Girdle from BFD over cobrahn's grasp , Glowing Fetish Amulet over High Tide Choker and Band of Deep places for ring(s). Basically you want more stam in pvp but other than that it's same.
