Komatsuzaki is the head of all XG’s MV. The reason why their fashions and aesthetics, all MVs have been consistently superb and quite different from other k pop groups no matter which production companies they use.
People are saying a lot of 80’s futuristic SF anime reference in the MV like GHOST IN THE SHELL (that influenced AVATAR also) especially Harvey floating in a incubator, Cocona in a bike scene from AKIRA and the last creature in the back is wolf 🐺 version of EVANGELION. A great concept from XGALX/AVEX again and also a great MV production by a local firm and its director actually visualizing such concept 🔥
The hands signs are sign language 🤟 they implemented that too

I can already predict so many XG fans commenting about XG is Jpop but guess what, no one talks about XG outside of Kpop circles..
Actually there's no way Alphaz (xg fans) would call xg is jpop bcs we all know xg is a global group:)
I think their latest music is shifting more western and targeting different listeners than usual Kpop fans, with all the tribute works for old school RnB and hiphop

@@babyb0ypn0y I wouldn’t say all songs written in English will be heard by everyone globally…there are segments.
The way compose their music is changing. TT and mascara were of typical Kpop style while SS LR were less Kpop and has more traits from 90’s western music. GG sounds even more inclined to this side to me.
My guess is their marketing strategy focused on global Kpop fans at first because they are relatively easer to reach out if they use Kpop platforms.
