Simon, the producer, did an interview saying that they wanted to go with quality over quantity for the music video, so they wanted it to be concise and powerful.
Hinata has steadily grown into her own and is getting more lines with each song. I think her strongest showing to date is Winter Without You. I have 2 special requests: 1. Deep Dive into XG Move videos 1-4: Move 2 actually has a video for each member. 2. XG Vox 1-5: these showcases strictly highlight the 3 vocalists of the group, though Maya has made a case at this point to be their fourth vocalist, but to be truly honest all 7 got it!!

Crazy fact: XG isn't liked in South Korea much... XG was tryna go to one of kpop shows/award shows there but they wouldn't them let be invited and a lot of Blinks(Blackpink Fans) be throwing shade/start drama with XG/Alphaz idk why.
They are still invited to various korean music shows. But they are not Kpop so it makes perfect sense that they are not around for Kpop related award shows.

I totally agree with what you just said about Hinata. She’s my bias and I feel like she doesn’t get as much exposure like the rest of the vocal line. Since you’re a photographer, I thought you might this video. Simon asked a photographer he admired to direct this video. It’s the photographer’s first ever music video. I think each frame was well thought out.
My theory why they didn't do the entire song is because that music video looked hella expensive to make with what they had and just cut out all of the raps to save money. All of that cgi must've taken a lot of man power to do also. If you do live stage performances, check out the inkigayo recording as a sample of their live shows. it's exhausting to watch them. Also their dance practice is dope but they're not actually singing while dancing in that video.

I have seen several professional dancers comment that they have never seen such complex choreography with chairs in GRL GVNG. Please check out the Dance Practice version. And I appriciate if you check out the ASL（Sign Language）version as well. I fell in love with XG finally just after I watched the ASL version of GRL GVNG.
