I've found helping service people in little/unexpected ways to be extremely edifying - bagging my own groceries when the store is short-handed, returning/straightening out shopping carts, stacking/returning used plates & wiping down tables, picking up litter, etc. Finding ways to leave the world a better place than when I got here 😊

Because God is the God of excellence, it’s the little things we do that matters to Him. He see’s all. I’ve always been motivated to want to please the Lord for the reasons above, but as of late I’ve forgotten about how important doing those “little things” unto Him is. TY Shalom 🌾🕊

I believe this is the whole reason God has put such an anointing on this project, we have, in general, lost touch with a personal savior. We have become numb. Lord, I pray that you would use this show to reveal to us your love.

'Plausible' is great choice of word. The Chosen indeed makes Jesus events feel more real in a way we can connect to Him. I've read some harsh reviews about Jesus being too soft in The Chosen (it was the same for the tv series staring Jeremy Sisco). It's as if those people expect a military leader with a stern and cold attitude. Jesus have authority, yet his authority is love.

I watched The Chosen and was soo moved by the character who plays Jesus and the one who plays Peter, how can we not worship and believe, we are a sorry lot, but no words can describe the beauty of our Savior, we can only try to imagine. I don't wish to downsize The King of Kings as a regular person, but to watch this was incredible, we must be careful not to put Jesus where He shouldn't be, because He is not only King of Kings, but The Lion of Judah and soon He will come to judge us all! In Christ brothers and sisters!

This show is changing my life and my wife's life. It must be seen. It is beautiful. The 7th episode with Nicodemus made me sob. Flawless and amazing show. The best cast with an unbelievable chemistry, it was meant to be and I can see and feel the Holy Spirit working. Thank you Almighty God for this.

Me too - I have cried so much watching these 8 episodes, and often laughed at the wonderful, gentle and reverential humour - like when Jesus tells Simon to cast his net on the other side of the boat. First Simon raises his eyebrows and then Jesus and then the boat lurches to one side with the weight of the fish - priceless.
Absolutely love seeing Jesus come to life and The Chosen is doing that in a most amazing way! Thank you so very much for this wonderful series 🙏❤️

I feel the same - never has any series, including anything on the Lord, made me laugh and cry so. much - sometimes both at the same time! It is, it's an ache for more of the Lord in His reality which this series seems to awaken.
As we quickly approach the end of a very challenging year, I find myself longing for Jesus to call us home, but also for the Lord to give us more time so that more can receive Him. I am so conflicted. This series is seriously where rubber meets the road. What are people going to do with Spirit and Truth? Thank you, Lord for calling Dallas and everyone involved to do Your will and may The Chosen reach as many as possible.
What a great scene from a GREAT show! These actors truly are bringing the characters to life from their inside out and it’s takes my breath away😌
I’m only 23 and single and I’m already so excited that my children will have this show. They will get to grow up with this incredibly real and intimate portrayal of Jesus and his disciples. He won’t just be this distant obscure character in a book to them, but a real man and a very real God.
My kids are young and don’t fully understand it yet but I am super excited that they will have this show when they go through the hard teen years! ❤️

Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't it be interesting if The Chosen crew decided to do a spin-off series based on the life of Paul and the book of Acts, called "The Message"?
And include historical data and follow the lives of all the apostles from Pentecost up until the death of St John

There aren't many movies or tv series based on the apostle acts, sadly. The acts stories helps to know how the church was founded throught history versus being a myth. It also helps to understand the numerous denominations (I almost lost faith because of certain of them who clearly need to read Paul), and for me, Paul helped to make sure we're not trapped in the old strict Jew laws with rituals and practices, so Paul was chosen by Jesus to explain the new convenant to other apostles (we're saved through Jesus by faith, not by law and rituals) and spread the gospels outside jewish circles.
Watching these episodes gives such a feeling of closeness to Jesus-just watching how real He is and how He relates to everyone showing the love He has for all
Yes you have an investment in the characters . You get to know them on s personal level. As the joy makes you smile or laugh, the pain well be felt as well. Thank you for this series of short films. I have enjoyed them greatly. May Yahuah watch over your and yours. ♥️

I absolutey LOVE this scene where Jesus tells Thaddeus 5days of wood, John questions him, Jesus explains 'Leaving some for the next weary traveller; Hospitality isn't only for people who own homes' ..... JOHN'S FACE.....such a tiny action, but his face shows a slight smile of a new understanding/way of looking at something....something new to him, a new perspective that his teacher, master, Lord showed him....not in a formal lesson setting....but as they worked together, side by side, a simple answer to a simple question but such a HUGE lesson!!! WELL DONE on a subtle teaching. And you can see the look of admiration and respect that our youngest apostle has for Jesus. I also liked at the shoreline, when Jesus called them 'you too, james, john...follow me!' John, without ever taking his eyes off Jesus starts to move toward Him, when older brother James, slaps a hand on his shoulder and looks at his father. John had no hesitations....as Andrew when he learned who He was.

Marah, AMEN! Exactly... That's ONE of the things that makes the show so... beautiful. There's significance in every little detail. I'm sure, even when the actors don't even realize it. That's one of the reasons I know God's hand is in this. INCREDIBLE!!!
I am a serious lover of theology. But this movie is so good in its presentation and its theological implications.
It’s definitely going to be emotional in the end because this is such a well done show. And the way you represent the characters and the way God has you representing them is (at least for me and my dad) impacting us and it’s rare for a show to emotionally move my dad as far as making him cry but this show has done it so the trial and crucifixion is going to be so much harder.
God’s timing for the Chosen series is perfect!! There’s so much going on in the world right now!!

The casting is incredible. I’ve never seen a better Jesus. But as Jerry says, we have time to develop him. But Jonathan absolutely must have God’s anointing. He exudes power but the gentle love is so obvious. Well done, good and faithful servant. This show is driving people into the arms of the King and to the Word. Everyone in the cast is so good. I am so eager for season 2. Praise God.

One of the things I realized about this show is that it is going to reveal Jesus as a friend is revealed through Time. Which will cause us to know him in such a way that the familiar story of the passion of Christ will become very real to our hearts. Not just the story we hear, but the story we lived through. Even communion will take on a new meaning. The earth is groaning waiting for...

I never was able to watch the Easter movies even as a child. They weren’t impactful the way the chosen is. The idea of watching the person I love most being brutally tortured is beyond my ability to comprehend . Ever since I fell in love with the Chosen, I’ve thought of what’s to come and how much I’ll be able to handle. You’ve made the characters so real and the love for Jesus so magnified, I can’t imagine. Whether or not I’m able to watch, so many people will really understand, maybe for the first time, the sacrifice and love that was wrought for our salvation. Thank you for bringing the pages of the Bible to life. Many are being saved, and at the end of the day the Lord receives the glory. ❤
We don’t show any more hospitality to people any more. We only show that mostly to family members. We must always show hospitality consistently in churches, work, stores, etc...😊🙏🏼
Heb 13 v2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

The Chosen is a must see series. The re - telling of the life of Our LORD Jesus Christ along with HIS faithful followers; leaves a stromg impact to the viewers. I am ministered by this show. It has motivated me to read and study the Word of GOD more.

I have seen just about every movie made about Jesus and there was just something about this series that had me in tears nearly every episode.. Tears of joy and excitement about seeing Jesus some day. How wonderful it must have been to have been there and Jesus reveal who he truly was.

Tradition said John was sent to Patmos after he did not die when his persecutors tried to cook him alive in boiling oil.
Don't know the accuracy of this particular item, yet all available evidence points to some kind of torture in John's life.

Super excited for season 2! Since you're talking about the apostle's deaths, I was wondering: Do you have any plans to go beyond the gospels into Acts? It sounded like you're planning to stop at the Resurrection, but I would love to see your portrayal of the effects of Jesus's life, death, and resurrection spreading to "the ends of the earth". I'd especially like to see the martyrdom of Stephen (such a heart-wrenching but beautiful story), and Paul's encounter with Jesus and his transformation from persecuting Pharisee to persecuted apostle.
I'd be satisfied with that 😄

Just re-binge-watched Season One.
Oh my gosh I had ugly crying in every episode except the last (I felt more joy than tears with the Samaritan woman)!
I don't know why, but the miracle of the fish makes me sob big gobs of tears every single time... Maybe because it reminds me of the many times God has not only shown up at the last possible second during crises in my life, but with ABUNDANCE.

The scene in "The Passion of The Christ" that showed Jesus building a table and chairs impacted me in much the same way. I saw a Jesus in that scene that I could relate to much more personally than one that only walked around quoting scriptures without emotion, such as in "The Greatest Story ever Told". The Chosen takes those relationships between the Jesus and the disciples as well to a very deep level with the viewer. This series thus far, has brought me to a much deeper personal relationship with my Lord and Savior than anything else I've ever seen.

The apostle John doesn’t actually die as a martyr. He was torchered, but he was the only disciple who died of old age.
It was told that he was so full of love that not even the Roman empire managed to kill him, yes! Isn't THAT amazing?

I can't even fathom being right in front of Jesus and experiencing him as a man here on earth and knowing is the son of God and God in man form. To see his life here that would change me forever. I cannot imagine what the Disciples go through.
Ah, 'tis true that it would be nigh impossible to fathom but here's the kicker that is mind-blowingly amazing -- He's even closer to you know than He was when He was live and in the flesh because He is in you -- as I am sure you know. A truth that He teaches us is what His disciples both experienced and passed down -- and through Paul, the mystery, "God in Christ in us..." that sweet Hope of Glory coming shortly -- so that He is closer now than He was even if you were with Him during his time upon the Earth -- Amazing!!!
And if that wasn't enough, God has also made it so that for those who believe -- we can experience His Son, our Lord and King, each and every day, not only through His Word and in prayer and in ourselves but ALSO in and through our believing family members, spouses if you're married, friends, co-workers and even strangers... thus being able to experience the Lord in a myriad of ways, freely -- for it is true that to be born-again and a true Christian is to have Christ live His perfect, Holy Life -- as He is right now in Heaven -- in and THROUGH you so that if I were to meet you I would have the opportunity to experience Christ in you and it would be completely unique and different because of your unique personality yet the same Lord is in you!!! That, my friend, blows my mind and is something that I will never be worthy of!
By keeping His Word and obeying His Voice we show Him in us to others! Be blessed
I'm so in love with Jesus and what He has done for me. It really puts a great joy in my heart to be able to actually see Him as a relatable, real part human person.

I so hope they bring the character of the brother of the prodigal son in one the seasons of The Chosen. Alot of the teaching are about the prodigal son, but his brother' reactions & what it means for believers is also an important person in relation to his father, his brother, his service, his perception of missing out, what was already available to him etc. Shalom

I got to know about this series during the lockdown, when the whole world was shaken, and I was going through a hard season. It brought me to tears, and for the first time, I asked God to teach me what it means to be fathered by Him.

Dallas, you and the team have been consistently putting out such great content and continuing to spread the message of Yeshua even during these difficult and uncertain times. With all that’s going on in the world this program is so important. Jesus is the most amazing and impactful man who ever walked on the face of the Earth. We as Christians need to keep in mind the hope and beauty our Lord has in store for us.

Already trying to prepare my heart for the conclusion... In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the ride and grow closer to Jesus the friend, Jesus the Son and Jesus the Messiah as he is portrayed in The Chosen. I’m sure it will be an incredible journey and will bring us all closer to Him in a way none of us have ever experienced. 💛
How wonderful that the conclusion is not the end - but is followed by the Resurrection. What it has made me realise is that every single one of us who loves and follows Jesus as Lord and Saviour, owes our conversion to one or other of the 11 faithful disciples who took the Good News to the ends of the earth. Our spiritual lineage goes way back - 2000 years.
I kind of hope my lineage goes back to Peter, but only the Lord knows for sure!
I'm am hoping that as this series goes on that you'll be able to carry it past the Ascension, to the books of Acts and to Revelation. It would be such a blessing to see this in a series and be able to truly follow all the characters we are/have come to know and love soo much. Dallas do you think this could be possible, if it be Yeshuas will? I'll pray for this. Hopefully everyone else will pray for this too. 😺💓❤️💞🐱
