You guys do an amazing job documenting your travels, I just don't understand why you don't have more subscribers. Should be 1M with the effort you put in.
One of the best episodes. It’s such an insight into the diving world. I’m no cinematographer but if possible I’d love to see a few wider shots that show the humans in full hunt mode. Much like you got to see that beautiful pod of dolphins showing their full potential (big show offs 😂)
Cheers Chruzzie, I will keep this in mind in future. It's always hard as we're usually towing the tender while the other dives. Next time we have extra hands we will get some footage.
Cheers Michael, yeah it was incredible! Particularly those dolphins. They usually don’t want to know us. And yes, the power of the doggy is truely incredible. We just had to include our mate James trying to sink one so people understand just how strong they are.
Boomer Michael lost that doggy to the taxman 😡. On my only Bluefin hunt in Southern California waters, I was lucky enough to shoot and land a 50Kg Bluefin. My 2 buddies shot 2 in the 50-53, an epic day for sure! We were using 3 atmospheres float on an all bungee 300 ft float line, stretches to 600ft. I had my 50Kg Bluefin take all of the bungee and the float out of sight, like Michael’s. I thought I lost it! So, I know exactly how he felt. The float surfaced a good distance from me, a few minutes later. I got lucky no Mako’s or GW, we were in thousands of feet of water, as they do hunt the BF, but no reef for pesky reef sharks. Michael is a heck of a spear fisherman! Actually, you both rock the spearing and free dive photography!! Love the video! ⛵️😎
Cheers Durwin, that would be unreal and has been on our list to hunt for a long time. We both some some great YFT over in Panama & Mexico many years ago and are keen as to get back to your side of the world.
Great footage as usual, but the loaded guns on the boat after the tiger were all good except that they were pointed towards the other tender. Probably not ideal.
@@colinboniface194 yeah it’s insane how powerful they are, it sank those two floats like nothing else 🤯 I’m glad James wrestling with it proved the point 😂
I was under Mr cat cleaning her when I was surrounded by sharks. Looking down I realised the shark shield wasn’t turned on. Turned it on and instantly the sharks took off.

Thanks Steve, you are too kind! We don’t know either but at least we get these lovely comments to keep the stoke alive ☺️
Love seeing other families live on a boat like us 6 🥰 catch up when we are North 🧜♀️🩷 Jacinta
That was sooo cool guys, big big tiger, and the way those floats just disappeared, great episode 👍

I can't believe how powerful that Doggie was. Fantastic episode! I'd do anything to have those experiences!

Definitely not ideal 😬
Will never forget that Sharknado!
Haha it was bloody wild!! Wish it showed up on camera better
That was one powerful fish. Especially when one of the boys couldn't climb on a float and sink it... Have to be 100 kilo's at least... What a beast...
@@colinboniface194 yeah it’s insane how powerful they are, it sank those two floats like nothing else 🤯 I’m glad James wrestling with it proved the point 😂
very good
Cheers Dubo!
That's epic. Immensely powerful fish. Shame the sharknado was lurking below😮
I know right, devastating 😭
What an incredible episode!
What was the name of the reef?
Hi Maddy, not sure what Ribbon Reef number we were at but it was one of them ;-)
Hi. What is the orange try hull ?
Hi Terry, it’s a Crowther X10 and she flies!! Owned by our mate Jai and it’s actually for sale (currently in Cairns)
@@sailingpopao does he have a utube channel ?
He doesn’t sorry mate, he was on La Vagabond recently doing their rigging. His boat is listed online and he has an Instagram account > @jaitooley_tvst

My not Mr
They definitely work in some scenarios for sure, shame they went bust 😢
Can’t buy shark shields anymore. Pity they didn’t put them to the test!
😂😂😂 did they work? Lol
