This is one of those builds trenchant recovery has 1k heal per heavy attack. Play it smart and you'll be able to outlast most as long as they don't have a healer. Healers will always make the task much more difficult.

@@afinale Sin or Francesca's hatchet would both be good in this build but not needed by any means. As for jewelry, yes, endless thirst would be the only artifact worth running in this build.
I know this is a few weeks old but i have seen a few builds like this, with the main exception that they use shirking heals+tumblers. What are your thoughts on those vs your build? I think im too slow mentally to dodge effectively 😂
@@Machao2005 you have to rely on shirking heals and if you are plagued shirking heals doesn't work very well. I run plague on a lot of my builds this one included ;) tumblers imo is better with medium and using a high stam regenerating build like hatchet spear or GS.
I want to play a winged shoes grace build, but struggling to think of a good second weapon. I really like SNS with a tower shield, but that auto locks me to Heavy without featherweight. So, great axe or hatchet seems to be the only two other viable options? Which one do you think will perform better on grace and winged shoes?
Also, since Grace doesn't have any leeching, would it be better to play it with leeching crosscut instead and put relentless freedom on the winged leather shoes?
@@IdrisImi both will perform good. I've done both build guides with winged shoes last season. This season I'll be updated the GA /GS Build eventually. But to give you a simple answer GS hatchet has the most built in haste and has slightly more synergy the ga / gs

But long story short I enjoy both for 2 different purposes. Grace build would not be a great choice in the island due to the type of builds you'll fight there vs OPR or even 3s.
@@Eloewyst I'd drop the hatchet for sns or spear. Reason being is the GS is what's going to break the stam on targets which is critical for those tanky boys. Try to always have 1 weapon (if you're melee) that breaks stam. SNS and spear are very weak like the hatchet in breaking stam.

@Eloewyst I'm pretty sure once you get it you can add a perk. But you have to buy it again with doubloons essentially recrafting it then you can change the last perk. Assuming you're talking about the ck rolls
I do have the 710 hatchet but when I look to upgrade it, the rogue perk disappears and looks to be the one that would get replaced, do I need to get one that rolls different so it doesn’t get replaced when upgrading?
@@PooyaBadiee You could use sin with this build 100% as for jewelry. I'm not a huge fan of any of the artifacts for assassin builds. Endless thirst is pretty good but the long CDs sometimes can screw you.

Hi, i played same build and love to use 2 greatsword skills only and put cut stone on 20% dmg when skills on CD. And i wonder why you using this Skill in Q slot of Greatsword. i think cast is long and this is not stun or something
@@Rof1an moonstone works great. I do that for a lot of my opr builds th-cam.com/video/nO9OK9jnKUo/w-d-xo.html here is a great example as for rupture it makes you uninterrupted for 5 seconds and puts you in defiance stance allowing greater "trade" when you go against chunky boys.

are you using attribute food? no matter what i do i cannot get 300 str, 100 dex, and 200 con... I'm trying to figure out why my character does no dmg and gets blowed up in seconds... I have 700gs and okay perks i THOUGHT lol.. Do i just have to get Enchanted ward on every piece for pvp?? I'm using 4 opal gems for ele dmg and onyx for physical. And im gettin chunked down while hardly doing any damage to the enemy.
yes I use attribute food, honing stone, and desert sunrise when pvping. Likely your trying to trade in onslaught stance.. never trade dmg in onslaught. always trade dmg in guard point and only go onslaught when your winning the fight to finish with a big burst. Never "hang" out in onslaught. the moment you are done hitting them swap weapons to avoid the passive rend it applies.

Mm not really attuned pants are "ok" to me and same with azoth pieces. You don't need refreshing as much as defevsives. Refreshing is great for PvE, mid for PvP.

Is there any possible way to make FS / Hatchet work WITHOUT being max level and having certain artifacts? They are my favorite weapons and I'm trying so hard to make them work.
No unless you're using Inferno fire staff. Regular fs and hatchet scale off 3 different attributes so you'll end up with your attributes so spread out losing a lot of dmg and good perks
I’ve done a bunch of testing around with it and right know it doesn’t feel worth it in light or medium it heals for only like 3k max and has 7 second cd so another defensive perk is just better. In heavy though it does feel nice
Only with tumbler boots. It needs more self heals to sustain through the long 7 sec CD. Tumblers, 4 piece shirking heals, medium spear would benefit the most from shirking heals.
i had to pull out the bow/vg and run as high con as i can and still do dmg to deal with how many players are running this build as they are hunting range, they get surprised when im a ranged tank XD. its crazy how many people are using it. i was tempted but i dont feel like redoing my gear after getting 700+ gs on fresh start
@@Hysocs you'll see over time gear can kind of accumulate as you play the game naturally. My recommendation would be to not worry about new gear rather just save pieces if they look viable for future use/builds/changes to build.
@@hobodiaries because I don't have a healer healing me. I'll take a raw 15% DMG mitigation any day over 10% better heals. Divine is great for PvE and when you have a pocket healer.

I have not tested it for pvp island but my guess is it would not be the best choice in comparison to having a GS with trenchant recovery to be able to trade with tanks and vgs
@@-franticthread1326 I actually don't use target lock if you watch my clips. Zero white dots on enemy. It's good for controller doo doo for mouse and keyboard unless you like to stand in one spot like a drone

@@Somordorp I have food buff on. Food buffs have been disappearing off the buff bar a lot but still show in my stats.

What do you think about the butcher+ hatchet combo ? The butcher have huge bleed potencial and witch hatchet can be really OP

@@Bizzbid FS abyss is a good option along with bow, vg/rapier. If you do bow vg you will need lifetaker so the vg scales off the same stat.

@colton6806 for OPR yes, not for pvp island. You'll lose the trade to a void blade very fast.

When do you fight with Greatsword and when with the Hatchet?
Simple answer. Greatsword to open and trade DMG til they are below 50% then switch to hatchet for a social d Into heavy attack then raging torrent.

when people start getting Ankh it will be viable again with Tumblers, as it was before.
