This was my first ever exposure to noita, and I love coming back to this video time ad time again, understanding more and more things that I had no clue about previously
I've gotten lava to Midas on one of my runs, terrible terrible run so I decided to go shifting, turned something into the materials needed for AC and got a full potion, went and shifted the potion with what little I had left and got lava to show. The chasm was so bright. (This was first floor, got two of the jungle tree stitch. Other than the run I got Greek spells from a normal chest and ended up dying cause homing piercing shotguns off a trigger with concentrated, it's possibly my most remembered run just because of the absurdity.)
@@spectralaria8648 this is late, but iirc the leviathan actually fungal shifts water to smoke, which is why its called transformed. logically, if that is treated the same as any other fungal shift, then when it shifts water to smoke, it will look at the data for the smoke material and if it sees smoke->healthium it would have just turned it to healthium. In other words, doing x->y and then z->x is the same as just doing z->y with noita shifts, meaning that x is permanently gone from your game.
This run with all that healthium had roughly 1\1000th the healing potential of one of dunk's soothing streams. Love the content my dude, keep it coming
Found a healthium flask immediately after I entered caves. I was so damn shook, I dropped the seed name on everything I could find, just so other people could have that start xD

You only would have to keep a fungal guy alive bathing in its own soup healing himself and bleeding endless supply of healthium! Or get one those fungal perks and thrive on their demise.

I once found healthium, an enemy destroyed it before I could reach it or even knew it was there, it was in the first level so I did not get much use out of it (insert image of despair)

He gambled and won this time.
Luck? I had a good run. I was literally a death machine (with 16 hp). The death machine needed to be restored, but it died from snipukhiisi. The death machine came in and saw that there was a hard save. A spark of hope? Almost. When the death machine entered, she appeared in the same race with the same 16 HP and with the same Snipukhiisi already shooting at her. My reaction is not so ideal, so...

Basically whats happening here is he had a flask of healthium in his inventory, so the game fungal shifted lava into healthium, which created this huge lake my evidence is the games ability to fungal shift the current potion in yiur inventory into whatever is being shifted, he has a healthium flask in his inventory, and at 3:00, this cements my theory because he fungal shifted healthium.
Dude, that's not a spoiler, nor is it some secret how it works. You're right though. If you hold a flask or soilbag while the shift is happening, there's a 50% chance it will use the one in your hand. Then it's a coin flip if it's going to transform your material into something else, or vice-versa

I'm currently on a long run with Smoke shifted into Healthium, almost every fire spell I cast just instantly covers the entire ground in Healthium

The smoke after the leviathan is killed is called Smoke (transformed) so it wouldnt turn into healthium

i got a run with two potion rooms, and a healthium shift into water, then immediately died to a explosive box i didnt see
I also had found healthium just a few days prior which was bonkers
i didn't realize there were that kind of full ragdoll physics for the character as i've never seen one not explode i guess.
