As polish american I am surprised with quality of american accent that Roman has. Just very slight traces of russian softening. Excellent. Certainly linguistically talented. I love his contagious laugh and positive energy. Keep smiling Roman. Actually he has polish accent...

That's the advantage of learning language by hearing not reading. You learn nor only words, but pronaunciation as well at the same time. Did the same by myslef with english at 6 years old :)

@@noktrum2794 Polish isn't so difficult for other Slavic. Learning a language from the same language family as your native tongue is always easier. That's a Roman secret.
BTW. I still admire his language skills.

@@VoidCosmonaut Many people think that Poles speaking English sound similair to Russians speaking it, but those are comletely different accents. Russians are using many softens and tend to prolong sounds when they speak English, Polish people do the opposite thing, they're accenting pretty hard and tend to shorten sounds. Polish vowels are hard (not difficult but they are pronounced hard ;p) for example "o" in Polish is just hard "o", English "o" is more like "ow" sound. Maybe it's not a very disctict accent, but Polish people would most propably recognize that someone is Polish hearing that person speaking English, the way of pronouncing sounds is specific (not in every case of course, many Polish people have good pronounciation, but it's hard to get rid of habits from your native language). And Polish accent is definitely different from Russian accent, that's why it is suprising that Roman's English is more similair to Polish way of speaking English than to Russian one, he is native Russian speaker after all.
But to be fair, his Polish pronounciation is almost immaculate and his English pronouciation is also really good, better than in the case of most Poles ;p but still his English is more Polish than Russian xD

@@cpt.flamer7184 Yeah, this is 100% correct. We also tend to strongly pronounce "r" sounds and even roll it at times. It makes Polish accent more similar to "weird Scottish" than Russian. However, it's not surprising at all that he speaks English with Polish accent. I'm a native Polish speaker and rather fluent English speaker and when I tried to learn German I found out that I pronounce it with English and not Polish accent. I think my brain just turns on a "foreign language mode" and I end up using English accent while trying to pronounce German.

Roman był bardzo powściągliwy aby skrytykować Rosję za jej najazd na Ukrainę a cierpienia Ukraińców wyraził w jednym zdaniu. Nie odpowiedział także na pytanie prowadzącego jak ocenia postawę Polaków w sprawie przyjęcia Ukraińców spowodowanej wojną. Jakkolwiek Roman jest otwartą i przyjazną osobą to wyrażanie zachwytów przez niektórych piszących nad jego osobą uważam za przesadzone.

Eastern Slavs should try it sometimes, because if you won't talk to each other, than someone does it for you. For example Россия-1. Putin is the fruit of that silence, and no connection in the society.
Makłowicz to dobry jest oporowo. Byl kiedys na imprezie u mnie w mieście, mial gotować 3 dni, ale po pierwszym dniu się ostro najebal. Nie chcieli mu w hotelu juz dawac alkoholu to poszedl pod zabke i z jakimiś typami najebal się w trupa 🤣🤣🤣 mistrz xD

Depends. There are some loud marginal groups that are unfriendly. They are small but loud and visible.

Except for drunk chavs I consider both brits and poles pretty friendly. If you get around wrong people it's gonna be shitty even among nations known as the most polite.

Taaa...Mamy kur...de kolejnego "eksperta" który pochodzi ze sztucznego kraju bez jakiejkolwiek historii, stworzonego przez ZSRR tylko po to by sprawiać problemy swoim sąsiadom (podobny mit założycielski widoczny jest w Donbasie). Pamiętam jak ten typek bronił Pomników Lenina i całego tego zbrodniczego sowieckiego pod filmem z reakcją na film Fazy. No ale polski YT to kółko wzajemnej adoracji klepiące się po jajkach żeby każdemu było miło

Same with parts of Georgia since 2008. Ukrainian territory since 2014.

@@malfeasance62 Indeed. After the war in early 1990 Moldova has no control over part of Moldova called Transdnistria. And yes, because of ruSSian garnizon (and they even admit to have around 1000 soldiers there!) it can not get control over this territory. Considered part of Moldova by *THE WHOLE CIVILIZED WORLD* so except ruSSia, North Korea and other BeloruSSians...

Roman oprowadzał mnie po Gagauzji, Mołdawii i Naddniestrzu jak wracałem z wakacji z Rumunii. Bardzo fajny i inteligentny gość. Szkoda że już nie zajmuje się wycieczkami po Naddniestrzu bo chętnie bym tam jeszcze jechał zobaczyć ten komunistyczny klimat znowu.

Słowianie zachodni od zarania państwowości Polski i Czech byli częścią kultury zachodniej i o tym właśnie Roman wspomniał w kontekście Mołdawii. Że jest w Europie ale kulturowo już nie do końca.

Ones Poland was really multicultural and prosperous country. Thanks to the people who come to Poland looking for refuge and in return participated in building strong country. To the point where our neighbours invaded our country because of its wealth and prosperity. I’m talking about a distant past but maybe it’s a good time for Poland to become again a country for all people who want to participate in creating a better future for themselves and better Poland.
