- I had a lot more fun than I expected messing around with the music, so I tried my best to come up with a somewhat coherent song, despite all the limitations of the event.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and comments. To be honest I wasn't really expecting my 2 videos to go anywhere, they were mostly just for me so I could save what I came up with in the event since I spent a lot of time on it and had a lot of fun with it. I was expecting at most for the videos to get at most maybe 1k views between the 2 videos. I did not expect to get anywhere near this amount of attention.
Originally I wanted to at least try to respond to every comment that I got since I wasn't expecting there to be that many, but with there being way more than I anticipated and with me being busy with Uni work I wasn't able to do that. I've been reading through the comments though but sorry if I never ended up responding.
I've this mentioned in other replies but I don't actually have any proper experience with making or performing music, hence the title being "An attempt at a coherent song". I don't have a lot of confidence but if you guys would like to see me try my hand at making music of some kind then let me know and maybe I can give it a go.
Anyways thank you to everyone for sharing your thoughts on the video/music, I'm happy to see that at least some small part of TH-cam was able to enjoy what I managed to come up with. Lets all continue to enjoy Honkai: Star Rail Together!
Also Hoyoverse please add some kind of permanent music event it doesn't have to be the same as this but anything would be cool.

I wish events didn’t end and just kind of passively stayed there (with no rewards though) forever afterwards. I don’t see why not either, like they made the whole event and everything just don’t lock it?

I agree. I played it for a bit until I realize that I can make music too. Tried it with Sunday starting point and and with birds and Clockie, until I lost interest. A banger event sure.

As someone who also stayed there having fun with it i really loved this. I wish they had put Robin singing for us to use as well but well, overall a really nice event.
Yeah I guess the point was to make a DIY song, and having Robin’s voice there would make it more just a remix instead of your own thing

Thanks, it took me a while as well, I think between both songs I spent about 5 hours to come up with the songs, it took me a while to get a song I liked

This is one of those minigames that would be amazing to have in-game permanently, i can imagine so many creations and ways the content could be expanded.
Something like this or something similar to the Windsong Lyre from Genshin would be cool

I tried to make a synth pop like this too, gave up cause I wasnt musically inclined enough xD nice rendition by the way.
Its funny how there are times where the instruments would desync. Its so bad.
Thanks, I have no experience making music but I decided to give it a go and this was what I managed to make. As for the desyncing I noticed that if you pause the page it would cause some them to desync and you had to reset all the instruments to get it working again, which was kind of a pain to deal with.

Thanks! I had to retake a few times because the timing, it was frustrating to have it sound off by just a little bit and have to re-record but I got there in the end

I just thought these 3 together were nice and didn't add other stuff cause it kinda ruined the calm ambience for me
I actually started with the off with just Sunday, the horse and the guitar bird as well because I wanted something that was similar to the actual If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking song, but more than half the instruments were too high energy so I had to sacrifice the nice relaxing tone in order to get more variety in the song

I really wish they brought this event back it was really fun.
First thing im doing is begging them in the next survey to add this as a feature for the parlor car. They could add more tracks like Wilffire, Samudrartha, and a few more of their hit tracks and allow players to make their own makeshift track for the phonograph! Along with a feature that allows you to share a track on your trailblaze profile 🙀🥺🥺
