Thank you so much 😊 i think you’ve missed up on D2 flexion it s a flexion “ arm up” - ABD - EXT.Rot, when u were giving an example of it which is taking the dishes from the dishwasher to the shelf u said “then extend the arm” but it’s a flexion of the arm followed by ABD and EXT.Rot :)
I’m trying to understand the neuro part of this. Would u have pt’s complete the actual movements of d1/d2 especially after a stroke with active assist? One of my pt’s doesn’t have full movement back and I’m just trying to understand better

I think you got it wrong D1 always comes from away from the body towards the body and vise versa for D2, so all that you showed is D2
